People are talking about the unboxing video, but nobody actually linked to it: Nomads faction spotlight is also posted:
The faction entries are in/on ARMY but no data yet. Anyone have a general idea of when they'll drop? I figure end of the week but now... *shrug...
I feel like we already know the profiles. Though I guess it means the code one profiles. The week seems very strangely paced. I hope we'll get a general presentation at the end of the week. that will show off what else is coming in the next few months.
I was talking about fixed poses, such as Perry Bros or Hasslefree showing multiple "greens" that are a metal or resin core with changes in putty, so you end with multiple soldiers with different clothes or weapons, all with same pose. A common 3D way is to have a generic stance (in a T or A pose, and derived from that "master" doll you mention), then move the parts to final pose with total freedom. Or even slice a starting model and glue back in different pose, fixing the transitions. CB has shown they use the "A-pose with clothes" method, but many times end in same limited set of final poses.
The Convention/Twitch seminar that would usually be at the end of the week is on the 22nd to coincide with a big Infinity event.
While showing the booklet, you can also see in the C1 release schedule, Ariadna has a "Beast pack" instead of a "Remote pack", that definetely looks like Polaris team.
Also, Ariadna Support Pack is 3 models as opposed to all the others having 4. I'm thinking new Dozer, 112 and general release Wardriver?
If Ariadna gets a char, it could be Kowalski. She and the Tomcats have the same logo. So there is still hope for Vostok.
The fluff for the third Nomad unit is hardly readable in the video, but it is possible to find the corresponding fluff in the N4 CoreBook. When you see them together you can say that the unreadable text has the exact same shape as the one in the N4 Corebook . Also there is no need for character for the both sides (since in B:Kaldstrom there was character only on YJ side), but indeed could be Kowalski (didnt had time to open the N3 Books to compere the fluff texts of Tomcats and Kowalski vs the one in Video)
You are right, but this was the exception. Wildfire had, Coldaleph had also ... so its a possibility, if not, I am okay, when they give us a Tomcat profile that has no actual model, like the Multi Rifle (even if I see no great use in it).
