You get her for free on the bundle but she'll likely be available separately like Liang, Mendoza, and Shona were.
Ja, but the blog is not about C1 :-) Could be, that this time, she will stay exclusive, as we have already a Dragon Lady HVT blister.
Really like most of the Kosmo posing. The Nomads though....why does CB love the sidearm instead of primary weapon pose so much? What the hell are the Sombra and Hellcat even doing? God damnit CB.
The blog is not explicitly about C1. But it pretty much is. I think the do that because it allows you to see more and possibly better for the mold process. Also sometime it just looks cool.
They've always been timed exclusives, rather than bundle exclusive. Even before they offered the convention exclusives to resellers they were available as an individual blister at the convention or via their online store.
I have suspected from the beginning he would be in the Beyond Box and fill the bulky model role similar to the Boyg from Kaldstrom.
The Sombra is holding it out to balance herself on a stone column, nothing about that pose makes a lick of sense. The Hellcat is just kinda posing on a console like it's an old Firebird and they are shooting a commercial. The Evader is doing a Captain Morgan style pose. CB has some good pistol poses (old SAS), and then it has this style they seem really fond of, legs up, arms all spread out, like they are posing for a magazine cover. The poses are one of my biggest issues with CBs design process, I want more natural/sensible posing from my models.
My updated prediction on the Beyond Box Kosmo side: Kosmosoldat (Autocannon) Scots Guard (AP Spitfire) Wallace
Morans seem more likely as an N4 blister, all their cool stuff (Repeater, CKs, FO) aren't in C1. A blister means that they'd come with their CKs as well. I'm thinking: Vostok Wildcat Tomcat Considering the Wildcats and Tomcats are all on last chance to buy.
Wow... am I ever sorely dissapointed with the Zenit, Paracommando and SAS. Of course we got two shitty boarding shotgun options, the two pretty much no one ever takes. I don't know why CB keeps putting them on everything. The mag fed visual change looks awful as well. And we can expect not not see other options for those units for like the next two years.... The SAS otherwise does look fine for pose. The Paracommando has an ok pose. But seeing the model compared to the art. I'm just not into the design. But being a BS profile he's gonna exist solely as shelf filler. I think at this point I'll just use Airborne Rangers for Paracommando's since they have both the options I actually want to use. And the Zenit... This thing is just a mess. Of course she has the fabulous hair to go with her gasmask. And it just doesn't work. Her camo cloak looks more like something I'd see as part of lingere. So she basically looks like she more belongs on the cover of some gasmask fetish magazine, instead of being the dark get the job done at all costs even if you have to kill your team spetsnaz terror soldier. Covering the hair up would have gone a long way to fixing her. Volkolak looks fantastic. And the one most people use. A+ on him Rokots look solid. I wish they had been two smg's and one rifle. Cause I feel thats much more in line to how they are taken. Also... big return of the tactical high heel boots. CB you had been doing pretty well on this front. Why did you go back to this. :(
I don't see the point of doing a space sectorial for ariadna with just one astronaut in the entire list. Why all the new troops and sculpts if the old ones are just the same but with more charm? Visually and partially in game too: zenits are scouts volkolaks are woolvers with vasiliy's clothes rokots are better metros polaris is a better dog warrior but with a bear head for the silly memes varangian are also non space galwegians at least the kosmosoldat is an space mormaer If the new troops don't have space gear or the space theme, then why not replace them with new sculpts of already existing troops? It just lacks direction, it's a recycled sectorial, but with new troops, but with recycled visual elements, but with a space theme, but with just one astronaut and the logo is stolen from an already existing card game not related to infinity. In the other hand, female sculpts in ariadna are just worse miniatures. Plain and simple. Those super thin bodies and combat boots with platforms and heels just look off, and I can't avoid seeing them as an inferior product. They can look nice in other armies with more sci fi themes, but for ariadna they just look bad. Corvus has an issue creating ariadna weapons, there are many ways to make them esthetically pleasing for the kind of people that gravitates ariadna as a faction, but after many years they are just not able to do so. The miniatures are ok, technically they are very well sculpted, but the direction is just not here. I don't like seeing random mercs added to MRRF instead of a proper french profile that fits the army visually and with theme.
The Nomad half is solid, I guess, but I don't really like the Kosmoflot half. And that Caydin pose is straight up derp. I guess I'll pass on everyting but the Dragon Lady.
