It's shaking out to be more creative than the "give them all the good stuff" approach to Nomads these days.
I may be the weird on, but I really want to see the Code One lists for these two armies. Ariadna, especially, should be interesting. I want to see what they do with the "REM" box and the "TAG" box. I'm half expecting the Nomad Tag to be the Lizard - the only one that needs a resculpt now.
They did say last year a Lizard resculpt was planned, so a good bet IMO. Muls make a lot of sense for Ariadna REMs as the current ones are hand sculpted minis from N2, they've already said though that the TAG box will be a TAG box and will not be a Polaris Team or Bearpode as some people predicted.
Muls DO make a lot of sense, and I'm 93.7% sure that's what's going to happen. Hopefully with a resculpt as well. BUT Muls are weird from a Code One perspective. Granted, things can change for the purpose of Code One, but Muls cannot be fielded as is from the box--they require an engineer to go with them. They don't have the "standard four" loadouts. Granted, Ariadna isn't in dire need of a repeater REM, but their options go from FO/HMG/Missile to Minesweeper/Indirect Fire rocket/Direct Fire rocket (and those have unique range bands for the weapon). And they have baggage, which, if included, is fun from a disposable weapon standpoint. I don't REALLY think that anything except Muls will come out, but...i'm excited for the possibility. Not only that, but with Code One being hard capped at 10 models, what will they choose to include? Probably Rokots as a line trooper, but they're fairly inexpensive, and the costs will have to be made up in the other options. It's interesting to me to think of what models will get released and maybe resculpted along the way.
Always the outside chance that they discontinue the Ariadna Support Pack and repackage things accordingly.
I doubt it, since it was changed recently to be a box of kazak doctor on foot, 112 on bike, and a dozer. I would bet on the Ariadnan remotes being more on line with the other C1 remotes, just limited to the "missile launcher" and the "Total Reaction" (which could see a change in weapon, maybe to a molotok or something, the same way the EC has a TR bot with a plasma rifle)
That wasn't a "change". That was, as far as I'm aware, the first instance of an Ariadna Support Pack. If I had to randomly ballpark a concept? Kazak Doctor goes to individual blister or put into a booster pack of some kind while a new 112 on foot gets thrown out there with the on bike version. It's worth mentioning in any regards that the Kazak Doctor was a less than stellar choice for an "Ariadna Support Pack". It showed up in one Sectorial(TAK) and Vanilla. Yeah it's in Kosmoflot now, but who cares about that Frankensteinian mess.
