If the Warsenal preorder is correct the Chaksa are coming to new armies. Chaksa Longarms Armies: PanOceania/ WinterFor/ White Company /Starmada/ Jurisdictional Command of Bakunin/ Spiral Corps/ Tohaa
Wow, didn't see that coming. What's their background like? This certainly explains the conservative profiles.
It could be, and IMO very likely is, an error on the Warsenal site, I wouldn't start speculating too hard just yet.
For whatever reason there's "JSA" on their box though. Misprint instead of NA2? They are so awesooome though, that Kiel-Saan sword :o
Shame that if they are in CC you've probably already lost. Lol who am i kidding if you've taken them you've probably already lost.
Let me make a core out of them and Auxiliars in Tohaa and Spiral and you have a unit that might get taken.
Coming Soon store page is up and just lists NA2 and Tohaa so looks like Warsenal was in error. https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/miniatures/chaksa-longarms
Well if the backside is a glorious as the front, I can only assume we have a new contestant for best glutes of the Sphere. Awesome looking box
Hi World, News for novels. I indicated that there was a date concerning the release of the 1st novel in May (Google info), change of the release date in September, Amazon info : https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1950423549?tag=simonsayscom I haven't seen any communication from the editor, maybe there will still a change.
Aren't Angarans a regular species in Mass Effect? As in biological / natural evolution. I'm under the impression that Chaksa were uplifted by Tohaa, which would make Chaksa more similar to Vorta in Deep Space Nine, though more warriors than diplomats. Not that I'm terribly familiar with neither Tohaa nor Trek lore to claim this is the primary inspiration, of course, but there's something artichokish about Founders/Vorta
Chaksa are uplifted by the Tohaa, but it doesn't always "take", so there's Chaksa that are fully sentient, and also some that are not. SO like, Longarms and Auxiliars are sentient, I'm not sure on Peripherals from Rasail, but I'm pretty sure the Kumotails Servants are simply empty shells to be remote controlled as much as any other servant bot the humans use. The RPG at least, details how this gives them a view that non-sentient things are still on some level aware, so they might thank a plant or door or something, but not in a religious 40k/Mechanicum or Battletech/ Comstar way. Inspiration wise, they're probably a combination of a bunch of different muscle slave races really.
Good thing that CB sticks to tradition with the least useful profile getting released first. Whats for August? Operation?
Cyberghost is awesome news, looks like the Airborne will be a repack booster. Seems a lean month with 3 new blisters and a box, possibly as they'll be prepping for the next big release. Operation: Crimson Stone was slated for Gen Con in August, though the Convention has been delayed until mid September and I don't know of CB will be adjusting their releases to match (or if they'll even be able to attend)
from social media: On June 1st, 2021, please note that our entire Infinity catalogue (including CodeOne, and Aristeia skins) will be subject to a price increase of 5%-10%, depending on the product. This price adjustment is due to the raising costs of raw material, labor, and increased shipping costs. This is being announced weeks in advance of the new pricing taking effect - so that our customers can take advantage of our current pricing model should they so wish.Thank you for your support and understanding. These price adjustment will allow us to continue producing the best metal models available on the market!
I'm gonna place a bet right here... The rest of the Varengian sculpts will be in different boxes of different factions (3 kosmoflot unit+1 Varengian, 3 O-12+1 Varengian...)
