How would you stat the big man on Campus? The Big rig...Maximus himself? Which sectorials would be in? what links? What skills would he have? Now realistically we can wishlist Maximus to be a far superior Achilles because let's be honest he already is, but this is about achieving a suitable stat line so it's at least it can be considered. He'd be at least S5. 2W+NWI or at least 3 W Arm 5, BTS 6 or 9 (Total Immunity might be pushing it but does make sense if not on the upper level of capability.) Impetuous? Fireteam duo or Haris? funny enough i was talking to another player during the last tournament about him XD since cb likes to aristeia! characters between 20-40pts i would say; ******************************* stats: 4-4 move, CC20, BS14 (only because panO power armor), PH14, WIP 12, ARM 5*, BTS 6*, W3, S5 *see below. skills/equipment: NBW, CC -3 (or 6 if it would still be under 40pts), dodge= PH 12, immunity shock, to represent the heavy shield; either nanoscreen or immunity ap (or crit) + ARM 7 BTS 7 (since N4 intention to change bts to just another armor modifier and its no longer bound to sets of 3) weapons: contender or combi rifle, heavy pistol, EXP CC ******************************* the point to his INF design is to be a bullet magnet and tie up models. he's not meant to be a CC specialist but anyone 'stuck' with him is going to have a hard time hitting.
I had considered giving him ph 14 with dodge (+6). Purely because in A! He needs people to Critical success to stop him from moving
though its opposite to his card i gave him the dodge reduction due to his size and to cut down his his cost to give him better stats and skills for an under 40 pt pricetag.
That’s fair. Boyg’s and Sepulchres are all sitting at that 50-60 point mark for an S5 and considering NCA and ASA doesn’t have an S5 it’ll probably be NCA who gets him as a primary option
I wouldn't put him into the game, personally. His playstyle is a poor fit for Infinity and would certainly lose something in any translation to make him halfway good. He'd probably work well as a Tikbalang conversion, though, for those who want to put Maximus on the board themselves- his armour uses TAG tech if I recall correctly, and certainly towers over a standard S5.
For a start, with that armour and shield he's at LEAST ARM 6. But, personally, I think he's one of the Aristos who should stay firmly in the Hexadome.
