Having Ariadna into Code One, means they will need a TAG...

And sure they will lock usefull scuplt to the kickstarter... like the Ariadnan TAG...

 

i love the shaolin and karakuri but It would be nice not to wait another 10 years for a Shang Ji.

 

I could see them doing something similar to Reinforcement Packs and giving a discounted price on current TAGs, along with whatever new TAG's they do. Supposed to be bigger stuff too, so who knows. There's also got to be a way to balance power levels of the various TAGs.

 

The Kosmoflot TAG will be part of Code1, so it'll be a general release. Possibly it comes out in TAGRaid first in an alt-sculpt of course, but who knows.

No and these "crossovers" are becoming increasingly annoying.

 

Fun thing, I thought the Hellboy homage was the chimera from the bahadurs box ("something boss", he's also a commentarist).
Then again, looking at Juana, Musashi, or Ko Dali, restraint has never been in CB's portfolio.

Oh, also, the male trinitarian concept for the OM box... he looks like a spanish politician... I bet that one is either a subtle as possible, or an accident XD

My bet it's on something akin to 250€ pledge: get all TAGs plus two boxes of cardboard, cards, etc...

The problem will be when the people get their TAGs and start selling the duplicates (for example, I already have a newly sculpted Avata, the xeodron's box, the Gecko box, and some old sculpts, many will have the new Squalo, the Zeta... Not to mention I know of people who already have 2 O-Yoroi and 2 Guijia). That might mean bad news to stores with stock of TAGs...

This. It's one thing taking somebody fairly obscure like the character which "inspired" Van Zant, a completely another to copy a megacorp owned IP like Hellboy and others or somebody real like an actor who can turn out to be a pretty nasty person (Gina Carano).

 

I think the answer is "yes". They mentioned an Ariadna TAG, both explicitly and as "no, Polaris Team doesn't count as an Ariadnan TAG". Plus an "arena" format might make RP TAGs less viable.

 

And we can always proxy/convert/kitbash if we like.

 

You're free to not use those models and substitute/proxy in something more to your liking. The Shona Carano model looks great and I could care less about the takes of a former mma fighter/B or C level actress. I don't mind the homages and look at them as what they are. Fun little pop culture references.

I'm really surprised that this Mukthar hacker is so cool. I don't like the concept art of Mukhtars, IMHO they're too far from the Haqq's visuals and vibe, but I have to say that this particular miniature is nice and I'm definitely going to buy her.
Having also FO and Red Fury made from Tuaregs will be enough of Mukhtars, I think ;)
