Dart was instrumental in the defense of the Teutonic fortress on Paradiso during the 3rd Offensive, fighting back to back with Konstantinos and the Magisters of the Teutonic order. Since the Teutonic order was rebuilt she has maintained close relations with the MO. MO Tikbalangs are piloted by Montesa Knights, whose fortress and training grounds are on Acontecimento.
I know, thats right and a little bit weird too, but maybe the martial arts of the pilotress count? Daiyokai is another candidate, S5 chunky, chonky Samurai with stealth ... rules over fluff.
She's also originally a PanO citizen, so despite ascension/Posthuman-ness, makes sense for her to fight alongside them.
The Mowang has Stealth as well. Has anyone else noticed that the KotHS has Holoprojector but can’t Holomask?
Yeah, Interruptor's article from yesterday noted that. No point since there's nothing to Holomask as in MO.
Yep, that was called out in the designer's commentary yesterday as there's nothing else in MO to hide it as. https://www.infinitythegame.com/blog/item/865-military-orders-in-infinity-n4
Also: Magister Knights were not a separate order but a "rank" in all of the Orders (thats why you could link them with both Hospitallers and Santiagos, and thats why people were annoyed you couldn't link them with Teutons).
I guess it can be contributed to tech like sound dampeners and such. So tech over skill. The KoJ has that ARM and BTS but not that gun at +1 Dmg. He also has NBW with +1 CC attack. I'd take that over MA L2.
KoJ has DA, and can potentially get linked bonuses in CC, though. NBW is more of a deterrent against fragile CC monsters, blocking their MA mods. It baffles me that it only has a shock CCW (even though it’s further deterrence for 1W assassins) with a sword that size.
Knight of the Holy Sepulcher is carrying TAG grade weaponry hence the need to have something bigger than a mere power armour, Stealth can be attributed not only to PanO superior technology, but also to the elite status of the Sepulchers, they know what they are doing.
Yes the typical stuff. I still wonder why they do this with S5 HIs (and OYoroi) - they are clumpsy suits, the Pan O one look all but not stealth with its support frame on the back of the arms. I can understand that a HI - low arm, more agil - could be stealty, but not the big, chunky guys. The KotHS has ists role (and it not need S5 for it, maybe to be able to look over S2 obstacles, okay) he is a high dam, high burst (TAG like) weapon platform with suprise attack boni and extra order(s) if you buy the KC. But the KoJ is more elite, agil, and fluffwise could pack more in a smaller frame. Not to forget, that it can get FT Boni. For actual CC, I would choose the KoJ (or Mendoza, if you not want to drag a FT with you). The NBW on the KotHS is good for defense, takes the MA away from assassins but I guess he will not use it often, an imp has to chose from three holos if he wants to take out the main HMG platform. Edit: make clear, that the can use more than one order from the KC, depending on the version you buy
KoHS gets two orders when you spring fro the KC, but I agree; his NBW is more to deter things like impersonators, ninjas, and the like from getting into CC to kill the PanO shooter. FTF rolls are a lot scarier to them when they can’t stack more than one -3 onto the Sepulchre, or buff theirs up further. Neko, and anything else with Berserk or E/M weapons are still scary though.
