Infinity Army 7 (N4) Updates & Bugs

Army: Combined Army (and sectorials)
Unit - all hackers except Bit, Nourkias, Samaritan, Skiávoros, Charontid, and Anathematic.
Browser: all
Problem: Virtually all other hackers who had access to special programs in N3 have some sort of free upgrade or special modifier in N4; the Combined Army hackers do not. This was probably missed because the extra programs were contained in their "EIKHD" or whatever and not listed out as upgrade programs.

 

I could not spot anything out of the ordinary with said hacking profiles.

 

Well, look again. For example - Shakti had Sucker Punch in N3; in N4 she has +1 Damage on her KHD. In N3 a Nexus Hacker had Sucker Punch, in N4 it has nothing.

 

Correct, in any case the army profiles are in line with the documents, therefore not a bug, maybe this discussion is better suited for the CA subforum?

 

He's just on a crusade to try and make Onyx better than Nomads at Hacking, it's politics, not bug reporting.

 

It was almost certainly an oversight in the edition translation.

 

Nobody's going to address it there. Here, people actually address things (as when they were handing out Immunity (Shock) like candy in the edition rollout).

It's a bug in the document, considering that someone forgot that there were upgrade programs inherent to EI hacking devices.

 

That may or may not be, regardless lets keep the bug report thread clean, the army developers are not in any deciding power to choose what the army profiles are.

Here are some bugs for you.

• Army: Any army with Flammenspeer

• Troop: -

• Browser used & Operative System: iOS

• Description of the bug: When you see the weapons chart, the damage of Flammenspeer (Hit mode) is 14. N4 rulebook says it's 15.

And the next.

• Army: Panoceania

• Troop: Teutonic Knights

• Browser used & Operative System: iOS

• Description of the bug: When you tap the trooper, the app crashes saying 'Something went wrong...' This doesn't happen in MO sectorial army.

 

Army: Haqqislam, QK, HB
Troop: Azra'il and Al Djabel
Browser/OS: Chrome and Edge for Windows, iOS App
Description of bug: "Continuos" is misspelled on BS Attack: (Continuous Damage)

 

Army: PanOceania
Troop: Teutonic Knight
Browser: iPhone App
Description: Go to Yu Jing, also tried Nomads and Dashat with same results, and select characteristic “No Cube” then back out and go to PanOceania and select Teutonic Knight. App crashes to Tohaa face and asks for restart.

 

Same thing happens on Android, btw.

 

• Army: Haqqislam
• Troop: Namurr
• Description of the bug: Namurrs used to hve Hyperdynamics L2 (+6 to Dodge) and now only have Dodge (+3). Seeing as everything else in their profile was mapped 1:1 to N4, this might be a mistake?

 

Same issue on (my dubious work) browser. Browser stops responding until I hit F5

 

Dodge +3 is correct.

 

Ok. Do you have any insight into why this was changed? Namurrs weren't exactly setting the world on fire in N3...

 

Probably because they gained dodge distance plus the new dodge rules.

 

If that's the case, that's a crappy trade. That 1" doesn't do much for them

Description: All profiles are missing the Chaksa Peripheral.

 

Are you sure? On Opera/Win10 at least they use the Spanish (I assume) name of the Chaksa, but it's there)
