Why would I ride a motorbike anyway? you think these things are safe? have you seen car drivers driving? half serious jokes aside what other people do and I have personally observed does not mean I am doing it, I do not know why you assumed that. All I said is there are people right now as it seems with the pictures linked above globally riding many forms of motorized two wheeled vehicles with loose clothing, would not surprise me if a tabard was added to the list of loose clothing people ride with.
I gave you a possible explanation, there are different expectations on a helmet and the damage it sustains in combat and transportation, maybe it was deemed as wasteful damage and put on an add on extra visor, maybe not.
And as was linked and pointed out to you with statistics, it's a fucking stupid thing to do that results in injury. Which goes right back to my point of the whiplash in design where the highly visible helmet designed for function over aesthetics is added to the form driven and inspired rest of the body. Basically pick one route to go with. Either make the unit's design look functional or make it the cheesiest rule of cool knight you can. This half and half result is amateur hour shit and makes for the result that's getting the ever loving shit mocked out of it. Or do your usual thing and blindly fanboi away because any criticism leveled at decisions made by CB hurts you on an emotional level, I guess. I'm not your mum.
Yes, and people still do it, you do understand I am not objecting it is dangerous, I am stating people do it anyway.
I can see some similarities between the Montesa and these fellas: And I'm totally on line with @psychoticstorm. Why delibertey risking damage to the Montesa's actual visor on the way to the theatre when it can be prevented by some additional visors? The wearer might look a bit dumb (definitely does) but will be able to fulfill its mission. What I'm less happy about is that weird bumper thing, it appears to make the matter of riding through terrain even worse since it seems to narrow the "debris gap" and adds a unfavourable right angle there.
I think it's designed to put away any vegetal debris. Remember that these bikes are originally used by the rangers of the Great Arboreal Reserve on Acontecimento.
Which makes it even weirder. I'd expect some device enabling the Bike to go more easily OVER any vegetal debris than smashing into it (except maybe any hatchet-like profile).
Watch MO players refuse to put it on the table because of that. EDIT: Also looks like Mendoza is a character version of the Knight Commander.
Heh! We'll see! But having a lieutenant difficult to assassinate is something nice. If the KC has a CoC profile, though, I'm 100% sure this will be what will be played.
Also, it's not too hard to sculpt the previous head. A while ago I sculpted one for a horse riding montesa commision I had, and recently some players in my area have requested me that same conversion for the new biker, so I sculpted a 3D version for resin printers (you can check it out on my Instagram, link in my signature).
I'm surprised to not have seen a conversion with a Batpod so far. I mean, the Dark Knight is the most famous knight riding a bike so far.
Just a quick question, is the special bundle offer exclusive to CB store? No local retailer has it on their sites.
The exclusive minis are available from any Infinity stockist, but it's down to the individual retailer if they want to match CB's free Mendoza bundle.
