Similar hairstyle, earring, and he has a last name that is pretty common on Okinawa. I don't know about directly based on Mugen, but the argument could probably be made.
Something about his sword pose also. Anime nerds brought it up on the old forums when the model came out. The names meant nothing to me and may as well have been unicron and a pokemon.
I always took Neko as taking influence from Saito Hajime from Kenshin (not hair\face but stance and some of the background)
I got that from his stance too. But Hajime Saito is also a real historical person. The anime up styled him. But he really was a squad leader of the shinzingumi during the revolution.
Nah, they've spoiled the Unit 9 statline, they're same as Raiden. Saito was a really plain-faced dude IRL, so all the anime make him look a lot cooler. Kenshin does it, Hakuoki does it, even Clockwork does it. The real Hajime Saito (at age 53, taken in 1897):
Wait, what just happened? Been gone for a long while and then this happens. As a mostly vanilla player, this puts a few holes in my list especially if ninja go (not to mention the bow Ninja in the red veil box) Are we getting more White Banner to substitute?
Ninja are the only troop that stays. We are getting Invincible Army at some point between now and the supposed publication of the book in 2019, but despite some people's optimism I'm not buying that it will happen anytime soon. This week we are going to see an article published on the website talking about what is happening to Yu Jing from now on. White Banner is waaaaay waaaay too far to even consider it a release. Like, the next book isn't gonna be here until next year at best, and White Banner is for the book after that.
We have Varuna, Vedic, TAK, Tunguska, IA, Shassvasti, and Ramah speculated. Three of them won't be this year. May has an N in the timeline, which we are led to believe won't be CA at least. It points a little more to Ariadnan TAK right now, maybe Ramah at the outside. Speculation is the Gencon N on the timeline means a two player box and two sectorials. If so, YJ have a box already. This may be either Aleph vs CA, some kind of Sectorials starter as an advanced Icestorm, or maybe just an extremely big Dire Foes set. Might even just be one sectorial. Might be tied to whatever shakeup of Aconticinmento is happening. Wild speculation: more box sets designed to expand IS/RV that boost those sets into small Sectorial forces, and CB "cheated" as they were half released already so those four "half sectorials" only add up to two. It's been implied the Tohaa aren't alone in being left out to 2019. CA have been said to be "after July" iirc, making Gencon maybe less plausible. But unlike Tohaa, it's just implied, not outright stated. My guess, IA is the final N of the year, and White Banner will be alongside Svalaheimery stuff, likely the 2019 campaign.
You reaaaally LOVE to mention in every ocasion you have this "Axil Of Evil", but please, don't forget to mention that it all started when Yu-Jing decided to attack Tohaa's Hospital for no other reason that "Well, we had to atack someone and we thought Tohaa was vulnerable". Then, you proceed with failing very hard at diplomacy and made everyone your enemy. What happened to Yu-Jing at Wotan is the consecuence of all that. Not implied, it's been confirmed in latest videos that Shasvastii (CA) and Triunvirate (Tohaa) are in testing phase right now, and design of Concepts/models will start at the end of this year. They may be released in 2019, but surely not this year. This year CB will release 4 more Sectorials, with their own new models/boxes; we new there were 5 scheduled, and we now know that JSA was the first of those.
Which is the YJ High Command's fault. Not mine. I didn't even play Yu Jing in Wotan, mainly because I speak to Vanther semi-regularly and I knew what was coming. But it makes the campaigns fucking boooooooring. Maybe next time our HC will find two hands and a map to find their ass with. And you are still the Axis of Evil. That nane is just too good and too fitting.
Just wait for the Triumvirate to be released, you'll know what is like to feel like a Kuang-Shi. P.S.: And now I got stuck in my head Madonna's song, "Like a Virgin": "Like a Kuang-Shi Exploded for the first and last time..."
EDIT: The numbers of retarded people thinking this post is serious are so high public safety demanded it edited. Really, for Lenin's sake, how can you be this autistic?
Couldn't CB just have both a pre-split YJ list and a post-split YJ list that has no JSA but gets new units?
That would be the weirdest sectorial, and I don't think anyone is going to be very interested in it once IA or WB has been released.
