Quick question. During the Deployment Phase, can a trooper with Camo/TO Camo, be deployed in Marker State and be Prone at the sametime? Or even go Prone while in Marker state during the game? http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Prone As it does state that a trooper can be deployed with a prone marker. But it doesn't state that in a marker state. Just looking for some clarification. Doug
Yes, you can deploy any trooper prone (unless TAG/REM/Bike) and a trooper under a Camouflage Marker is still a trooper. You can't deploy a Mine or ambush Camo marker prone, but that's because they're not troopers.
Hmm. Not sure that I would do that. If my opponent knows what A.C. is, then that person will know which is the real one. Once the Ambush Camo comes off, the trooper retains Mimetism right?
Your opponent doesn't know it's ambush Camo until you reveal, it could be two camo markers, or a minelayer for all they know. Ambush Camo also includes Camouflage and Hiding level 2: Camouflage, so -3 to shoot/discover, re-camo as an Entire Order, etc.
Oh man...been doing that all wrong. For some reason I thought when the trooper with AC revealed, that was it. Much like Limited Camouflage. Wow...changes everything now So then when the trooper goes back into Camo state, is it regular camo or is still AC?
There's no Ambush Camo state Ambush Camo allows a Camouflaged trooper to place a second Camouflage Marker within ZoC during deployment.
