From Remote Presence podcast fb page.

Aside from the tendency to include some kind of tactical rubble on all drop troops - I like it a lot.

Was reading a good analysis from a fellow gamer that most of the newer 'static' poses are due to them NOT having tactical rubble as the basing allows for better, more dynamic pose mounting (and avoids pin-needle ankle syndrome lol).

My curiosity is now peaked for new Dakini designs though :)

I think the render in incomplete. The wings and maybe the right foot are missing, unless the wings are already somehow hidden.

I love the design, but like the spitfire one, it seems to me that the size is a bit big to be a S2, don't you think?

Hm, I both like it and don't. XD

The pose seems a bit too organic. And I really dislike the design of the gun, old Boarding Shotguns were awesome for me.

On the other hand, it is still the new awesome Garuda sculpts, so +++

It's getting old when all the Boarding Shotgun troops are running or landing on a tactical thingy. And I didn't like the big, bulki turbine in the Spitfire design, so that's not gonna change, even if they ported the Fraacta Boarding Shotgun pose to the Garuda.

I'll keep using my two old models, thanks :/

Kind of, the new model will use the same wings (and possibly foot) as the Spitfire Garuda, so the sculptor would not include them when sculpting the new model, just the attachment points. You see this a lot with PanO bunny ears.

Sometimes they'll add them in to make a render look more complete, but I imagine it depends how much free time the sculptor has.

Personally i think they're a major improvement from the old Garudas, who look like a crap (just an opinion)

Artificial muscles can really do wonders to your bots.....

So awesome. I love the pod. Reminds me of the MGS AI pods (dunno what the function is on the Garuda). Everything about it is great.

I'm going to buy the shit out of this for my Imperial Service, never taken a spitfire on one (rather use the rui shi for that) but the shotgun is DISGUSTING value.

I am just getting into Aleph now...which Garuda would you recommend purchasing first from an all around utility perspective?

For me, spitfire... the Boarding Shotgun is just too close range to not be a liability.

Spitfire is indeed the most universal choice. Boarding Shotgun is brutal, but more specialized.

Purchase the miniature you prefer and use one profile or another depending on the mision.
Infinity doesn't enforce the WYSIWYG, unlike other games.

You think so? I fell in love with the Spitfire sculpt at first sight.
