I know that the steel phalanx will participate in combat on Paradiso, but do the OSS ever deploy there? Would it be out of the ordinary to see dakini in the jungle?
Absolutely, while the Steel Phallus are going on flashy raids and big media friendly operations OSSSSSS will be performing lightning strikes behind enemy lines, hunting rogue AIs, defending Aleph nodes, rooting out Arachne nodes and rogue AIs hidden in the jungle, ambushing Yu Jing patrols to further it's own shadowy and possibly nefarious agenda, hunting down war criminals hiding within Mercenary companies, rescuing sensitive hostages, etc.
From Operation Coldfront, we know that OSS is used as base security at forward bases set up to counter the Combined Army. The ariadnas just happened to distrust the stated reasons to set up the 5g towers. So OSS deployed on Paradiso is very likely.
