So, in my insane quest of collecting Infinity models, I started to consider getting Nesaie Alke. It makes sense, as I already have the new Thorakitai box... The problem is: the current Nesaie Alke model is just... ugly. Have there been, by chance, any news / hints / speculations regarding a replacement? Because I'm considering proxying her with the Chandra female, which is a much more attractive mini...
For me she's one of my favorite looking models in the faction and was a big reason I picked up some Phalanx to begin with.
Or some new weapon, which will for sure show up in the upcoming book. But yes, something less SWC-heavy would be nice.
I doubt they will resculpt her. My preference would be to remove her as a character and turn her instead on a generic, AVA 2, "Thorakitai Subofficer", with current stats, a Multi Rifle profile, and doubling both with an Lt option. Maybe even give her the Specialist Operative skill to all profiles, either for free or for 1 pt. Or they could also make a new profile and we could use the current model as either, but frankly...
I would prefer them to keep her, I like the character. It's just the model that really is not to my liking... Please tell me: would it be cheating to substitute her for another model? Or is it something people do in Infinity?
Nah, people do it all the time. Also, new official proxy rules support it to a large degree. Just make sure that your opponent knows what model she's representing.
