So what's everyone's favorite character so far. I'm on the 4th mission and I think Uma is my favorite right now since she can put out some serious ranged damage. She can also do some stealth stuff too which looks pretty cool. Comment below with your favorites so far and why.
I thought I'd like qiang but really loving jazz. Hacking is quite cool in defiance once you start getting some of the upgrades! How'd you go in mission 3? We felt like it was impossible to do both objectives, but maybe we just didn't have enough damage characters
Yeah I agree the hacking in defiance is really fun. As far as mission 3 I had uma with a heavy pistol which really dishes out damage and Qiang packing an hmg. Uma pretty much always gets the switches required to activate the heavy pistol so she can reliably dish out high damage. I got greedy and opted to kill the charontid. I had d-charges on cadin which I had purchased before which makes dealing with the nest much easier. Uma went down but luckily the haqq doctor got her back up and I ended up losing Billie but brought the charontid down mainly with uma and qiang.
How do you afford that equip by mish 3?! Edit: the way we understood it is if you maxed Intel you get 3 for both first and second mission, plus 1 extra for one character. So 6 Intel. The hmg is like 7 or 9? The heavy pistol is 7. It's one of my groups main complaints so far is character leveling feels really slow
I believe if you complete all the objectives of mission 1 and 2 you'll have 7 intel per character. I just went and rechecked the hmg is 7. I was worried that I might have bought it too early. I've just been saving up as much as possible. I think the 1st 2 missions can definitely be done with no upgrades. The heavy shotgun is gonna do some heavy lifting for sure though. Something to consider is that I consider these to be late game weapons. I'm now gonna focus on armor and helmet for qiang and an SMG for uma. Just got the best sword for cadin so now I need to grab some armor for him and I got a rifle for jazz and saving for a hacking device plus.
