I'm trying to get into hassassins.
The rules for holoecho state a kind of complex for me. I just want to get them clear for myself.
I used the search function but didn't found an answer.
Edit: I missread his totally. All holoechos have to deploy in the deployment zone.
Am I reading the rule for holoecho state correctly that the model would be able to deploy up to 16 " out of the deployment zone?
I read this so that only one Holoecho must be placed inside of the deployment zone. The other two could be placed outside. Because they don't have to respect the deployment rules.

Maybe I understand this not correctly. Would be nice to get it clear.

Next question which came up yesterday.
During state phase the model can enter holoecho state again if outside of LoF.
I place the two holoechos in base to base contact.
When the model enters holoecho state I word down which holoecho is the real one.
As I read the rule I can change the true holoecho every time I enter the holoecho state.

    The situation was as follows.
The Ayyar stands on the corner behind a building without lof.
The holoechos were gone. In state phase I placed new holoechos.
Now one of them gets LoF to an enemy model.
As I understand the rule I could have declared that the holoecho with LoF is now the true Ayyar and could ARO for example.

My opponent means that I could not change which holoecho is the real one. But to me this wouldn't make any sense.

Okay, I think I missread the deployment part completely. All holoechos have to respect the deployment rules.

The second part of my question is not clear to me.
If you can not change the true model after entering holostate again, the opponent would know which one is the true Trooper and the whole skill would make no sense.

When you enter the state, you put down two echoes, but then you pick any one of the three to be the real one. This also means the original model can get 2 base widths of free movement if you want. This isn’t explicit in the rules, but it’s implied by the part that specifies that the opponent doesn’t know which is which. That’s the way it worked in N3 and AFAIK it works the same in N4.

    Thank you for the clarification.
That makes the Ayyar a little bit more interesting.
