Today I decided to clean my shelves. Lots of work were done. But more important moment is that I’ve found clues. I saw connection between them and my chosen faction in our favorite game! Here is a photo. Spoiler: Here it is... Well, now we can see clearly, that my choice of tohaa was expected... - tabletop game Evolution. Special edition with addons x1 - tabletop game Evolution: Random mutations x1 - tabletop game Funny Genetics: Insects x1 (not sure about translation, but you see an idea) - pokemon game cartridges x3 - disc with anime Moyashimon: tales of agriculture x1 AND what about YOU? What about to do some detective work and find signs of you favorite faction in your other things?))) Your turn.
I like Appleseed and Bubblegum crisis. Not so much Ghost in the shell. Too much metaphysical quandary for me. I like the power armour and TAG models in infinity. I like the models, I buy the models. The faction fluff is waaaaaaay down the list, followed by the gameplay. Never really saw the appeal of pokemon - could be because I was never into "collectibles" and the whole pocket monster thing hit after I hit my adulting years.
Let's see... Haqqislam. Favourite faction in Mount and Blade Warband/Bannerlord: Sarranid Sultanate/Sultanate of Aserai Spoiler Favourite ASoIaF House: House Martell Favourite Medieval 2 Total War Faction: Egypt Favourite Total War Attila Faction: Sassanid Empire Yeah, that checks out.
I'm similar to you except faction fluff & gameplay is higher on my list. Though I'm the type to pick a faction based on if it fits a conversion idea I have in my head. Because of this I'll choose the type that best fits how the army functions in my mind. Then I just buy the parts & models to make the concept come to life. I do like lore armies just as much. So some of my converted ideas are split between lore friendly forces and gameplay ones.
