Just noticed, is the Tikbalang the only TAG in the game that dodges without any penalties or did it get called out as a bug?
Also Tikbalang got DUO in MO. And OS got their CC upgraded to 18 (instead getting pts discount).......... ech...... (same goes for Trinitarians) Also there is new Trinitarian profile, same as Minelayer one but without Minelayer and 1 pts cheaper. Is there a place where the listing of rules changes in army are being posted ? (saw some screenshots few times, but I can't find thred)
In white noise Hellois said MO is being looked at further. I guess we can take that with a grain of salt
Well, a few JSA units got better after such reworks. Same with FK>KoJ. So this might be a good news. Yeah. We'll see what will become of them.
I'm alright with this. If we see something like Haramaki -> Tanko then I think that will put MO back on the map as something I will want to play. I hope alot of their pieces get slimmer in terms of focus and their link teams get looser with wildcards and special links.
Im hesitantly hopeful because fk to koj was a very positive overall change. The holy shit was more on them going away. I think this definitely gives credence to the speculation here that perhaps MO was not originally meant to be slated for launch and it was supposed to come later with the new unit that replaces magisters and the S5 sepulcher. Which hellois also confirmed in the podcast
... great ... he told me that there were not going to go away in N4 yeah right for few weeks -_- I'm so mad xD magister are my favorite MO unit, I was planning to play them in N4 (got 5 on my painting table atm) why removing the only unit that work in MO -_-
Sounds like they're not really being removed, just that there'll be a new "Knagister Mights" unit that'll fill the same role and work with the old models.
I think we can excuse that because he said they were going to become a new unit. Sort of like Father knight became KoJ . So if we get Knights Errant as opposed to magisters but with fixed stats and costs im not complaining
What podcast is this? Link please, I want to listen to it. Also, this means theres serious hope for a proper MO rework. Sweet.
What number rework does this make for MO? I'm not an MO player, but based on my play against them I'm of the opinion that most of the problems with MO aren't individual units, but instead the general cohesiveness of the army and odd fireteam rules. I'd love to see CB try a new iteration on the old fireteam rules with Order Knights and Confrere Knights, but it seems like the game is moving in the opposite direction (and probably for the better). Teuton rework is much more interesting to me than changes to Magisters.
for me it always boils down to the lack of mid-cost support units that are mostly absent from the army. I think the trinitarian and the infirmarer go a decent way towards fixing that issue though. Teuton rework doesnt excite me because in the end it'll just be another flavor of spitfire/30 point mid-range fighter. i think cheaper magisters combined with a more flexible link would help bolster the order groups and allow more comfortable list building.
Well magisters are going away. Teutons are getting a real overhaul apparently to bring them to the forefront. And the Sepulcher rework. We may have some interesting changes in 2 months time. I am going to really miss magisters though.
On the one hand I'm annoyed that we're losing the nice fluffy Knight initiates, on the other hand a rebranding might allow them to be an actually affordable LT for the folks that want it.
