Why would it be risky? If you fail the Engineer WIP roll you lose 1 STR too, but with TAGs the Gizmokit roll (PH 13) is better than the basic engineer's WIP 12. Sure you can't use a command token, but that's why our TAGs have 2 unconscious states^^
Given Pano's Tags have 2 stages of unconsciousness, is engineer support as critical as it used to be or could you skip the 21-point engie+palbot tax to bring some more trading pieces that keep the Tag safe through firepower?
Func fact: With Joan (to get them Regular so all 3 can coordinate) Techbee, Machinist and Monstrucker you get to B3 Gizmokit things (even at range) and a single success gets them back up with all fails cancelled (explicitly changed from N3).
No, if you check the book there is no such skill. (though +1 WIP to Remote Pilot could maybe work if following REMDriver rules)
No smart monstruker anymore? Thats just additional sadness for pano engeneering. Its still garbage for the amount of tags we can field. Highcommand should by parvati models from the blackmarket
