I'm not sure how competitive this is, but maybe an interesting thing we can do now. Hidden Lt, three normal camo and three hidden deployment, combat jump. Who cares deployment zone defense when half of your list is outside of it.
Don't tempt fate :P But I'd be seriously interested in testing some fan-made armies against each other, outside the "official" game enviroment. No harm in that.
Just listened to the new white noise interview with helllois. Confirmed the S5 holy sepulchre will be coming when MO is next updated. Magister's are going to be got rid of, they are going to have the same treatment that father knights got, and apparently the Teutons are going to get a much bigger role. Yeah, they've asked him some of the Skoll's questions from the fb thread. I wonder what exactly CB will come up with.
I would be glad if that could be also followed by actual new releases... Teutons deserve better than the poor models they have right now, Sepulchre (and Montesa) will need a new sculpt, and Santiagos need to be available on the store (not only for us but also Starmada).
I think Santiagos will get a resculpt soon-ish, their disappearance and new CJ option would suggest so. It'd be great, but what we got is what we got. There's plenty of things to enjoy in the meantime.
There's a good chance the november rework might lead to a new MO starter box. Magister replacements, Teuton rework, Sepulchre being beefed up. Plenty of new sculpts I suppose!
My guess is teuton resculpt will happen as part of that magister teuton boogaloo they got going on. Sepulcher and santiago have been confirmed entirely
Although starter packs have moved away from the standard of having 3 mooks with basic guns in each kit, it would be neat to see the 3 base infantry in the MO starter to be "Magisters" (Or whatever their replacement would be called) since their current box is dead. Similar to how the IA starter having 3 Zuyongs as their mainline troopers, the magisters are our cheap basic knights. Though I would also love some new combi OS as well, my bolts have been working overtime since the old OS look awful in a link next to the chad knights.
Hmm, a mid-size nu-MO action pack like the Starmada one would be an interesting Gen Con 2021 product.
