I really dont think Teutons (in current or this) add anything of note to link. I would rather rework them into full fledged HI WB style. Somewhere around 25-30 with either an eclipse or other survavibility form (Hyperdynamics L2/3 ?), so that they are reasonably surviable, give them FD1/2 and full impetues. Hyperdynamics 2/3 would be especially interesting now once you can dodge move in active. This way MO playstyle could be a bit different, use expensive HI WB style, have different option how to screen/support main mid-field link team (Trinitaries/Teutons/Haris etc). Yea I know its old idea, but hey I really think it would work.
That was my goal with this one. I wouldn't want them to have Hyperdynamics - let's keep it too Magisters - but SMG, HFT, and Eclipse - or VShotgun - would be a reasonable kit for PanO HI WB, especially one with a Jungle theme. Yeah, full Impetuous would work for them. Oh no, Smoke would be sin. Eclipse is a loophole :D
Yeah as @Skoll pointed, I said "faster" because all we got was more forward deployments (KoJ and hospitalier), combat jump Santiago and a stronger Montesa now that he can use a Red Fury. Some of those options are nice and all... but feels like instead of fixing the sectorial they just slapped those profiles and push us to be even more aggresive. At least I am thankful Order Sergeants are finally fixed. Looking forward to some new models for them hopefuly. A new MO starter with some OS and the Montesa on bike would be nice. Throw in a Sepulchre resculpt and it would sell great probably.
Dart has background ties to MO, she fought alongside Konstantinos and the Teutonic order to protect their Paradiso chapter house during the 3rd Offensive.
I would argue it was kinda the other way around, they shoehorned her into the monastery for no good reason so they could cram her into mo so we might buy the model [emoji14] Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
I mean, it's all fiction at the end of the day. Also you don't have to buy the model because of CB's proxy rules, so that argument always falls flat to me.
My main issue with Dart is that she's extremely strong, if short-ranged, infiltrator. I used her in Acon and OSS, but would like her balanced better. And she doesn't really fit MO. I think it's the least likely of PanO sectorials to include Aleph units. Tikbalang of Montesa is an ok theme. I do like when sectorials get some themed stuff, and this actually fits PanO "professional military force" theme pretty well.
I think the better question is how likely are they to take actual informed feedback from the forums. The answer is still zero as evidenced
They take feedback that I'm sure of (matter of LI being CT immune is a reason to say so). If it every comes from these forums I don't know.
Oh don't get me wrong, I don't massively care. I converted my own dart out of Andromeda, but I do feel they could have created a character who would make a bit more sense in there! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
A Panoceanian heiress who has ascended to a higher sense of being returning to assist the faith she was raised in, fighting back to back with a tragic hero, the stolen glances and intimate conversations between battles. Konstantinos' love for his dead girlfriend warring with his attraction to this exotic, alluring posthuman who sticks by his side through thick and thin. Dart wondering if she's made a faustian deal in leaving her own mortality behind. I guess I find her presence a bit more evocative than another Knight or robed dude with a sword.
