So correct me if I'm wrong, but because Tinbots are now Firewall modifiers, they also impose a -3 damage mod to incoming hacking attacks right? That seems like a nice buff to our old Tinbots.
Especially against Killer Hackers; a BTS6 guy like a Crane or a Shang Ji is only going to be hurt on a 5 or less by Trinity. A BTS9 like a KoJ will only be harmed on 2s, which may actually give a stronger niche to normal Hackers like the Crane since their Oblivion is better at punching through such defenses. Fairy Dust is also a nice option in this regard for the rare Fireteams which can't take Tinbots, like a Crane in Celestial Guards.
If when I have time I will restructure the OP to be more a unit-by-unit list than a random bullet points. Xi doesn't have a light grenade launcher. It's a confirmed translation error due to similarity between Light Grenade Launcher and Light Flamethrower in Spanish.
I don't know about a new loophole, CB just split N3 Total Immunity rules up between Total Immunity and Bioimmunity.
After playing a bit with the builder, I gotta say I'm much, MUCH more excited for IA than I though I'd be. A lot of changes were unexpected but completely welcome, especially the wildcard NCOs and the removal of wildcard restrictions for haidaos. Now the only units in the sectorial who can't benefit one way or another from the daoying orders are the zhencha and the liu xing, everyone else is either an NCO or can make a fireteam with one (and various amounts of tactical awareness units). I'm still concerned about defense, and hacking as well, but I need to see exactly how it materialize on the board. Some of my friends played games already, and apparently the way firewall works makes KHD almost useless against hacker with high BTS and tinbots. Worst case scenario, the new engineer character provides a very good answer to the issue. And the mowang got stealth, which is nice obviously.
Minelayer rules ? The effect says: ► In the Deployment Phase, the user may place the Deployable Weapon or piece of Equipment inside his Zone of Control. Its singular - the deployment weapon, not plural. So you can only place one.
Yeah the problem is I'm gonna have someone turn around and say "I use minelayer again" to which my response is "Don't, but I can't tell you why you shouldn't"
Yeah unfortunately the writing kind of leaves an opening for things being used at anytime during deployment "Deployment Skills are those used during the Deployment Phase or during the game, when the Troopers are deployed." Those being written as two separate instances.
Does anyone else have some real troubles making use of the +1,5 SWC that the Crane Multi Rifle LT gives you in ISS? How the hell do you spend all that SWC without just dumping it all willy nilly into snipers?
Have you tried taking 3 TR bots? That plus Dakini and Garuda should eat the SWC real fast. Dakini jumped to AVA 3 for ISS.
Weren't Dakini AVA 3 before? Could've sworn. In either case, yes I tried and points ran out immediately :p That Crane isn't cheap and needs a Haris to get where faces needs punched.
AVA2? I think. I have no trouble getting to the limit. Also Crane's a wildcard why Haris when you can give him a Kuang Shi core link to run up the table with. Pretty sure I said ISS shouldn't get wildcards because of that shit somewhere on these forums, but if we've got it might as well use it given it's less abusive under Tactical Window. still 65pts to play with at 7.5SWC. Lots of options you could go with.
I had started collecting yu Jing over lockdown intending to start playing vanilla, but now I am seriously tempted by iss... Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
Heh. Seemed a lot harder for me :p Now... Crane MRifle LT and Hsien MRifle SO for 8.5 SWC cap... full meme territory, maybe I'm better off trying to come up with proper lists for the tournament in November :S
Whilst it was a silly excersise and I'm not likely to use the list ever, it did remind me that the Crane LT might actually give me the free SWC to take Lunah.
