Seems we got the Fireteam changes I suggested: Tanko, brawler, clipper are all now Up to 1 when joining in. Daiyokai can now join a Tanko fireteam (duo and haris). All Wu ming got haris so we can do a full wu ming haris or have it joined by a brawler and/or clipper. No changes to our LT options sadly. Other things of note. Yuan yuan lost booty. Desperadoes got +3 CC, +1 PH and the dual Assault pistol + chain rifle profile is only 6!!! points.
Notice Brawlers are AVA 1?! That sucks, especially since it's one of Two Lt. choices. At least the Keisotsu went down to .5 SWC but still sucks! I still see Booty on the YY. First thing. Only one Brawler OR one Tanko in Keisotsu team sucks.
The Fireteam chart says Brawlers are meant to be AVA 4, so I would assume this is a bug with the Army database. I think it has been reported, but worth checking over in the Army subforum
Booty must have been added since I looked. It doesn't say OR anywhere I can find. It's Up to 1 brawler can join a fireteam of keisotsu, and Up to 1 Tanko can join a fireteam of keisotsu.
https://infinitytheuniverse.com/arm...HAAIFAIPqAQIAAIPnAQMAAIPnAQEAABEBAQAAgKIBAgA= the 15 order is a nightmare for Ikari but I can't go out without my WB daiyokai+tankos gives you some ARO and scarface can punch big ass stuff i've taken the spitfire because we are suppose to have smoke to get in range
This actually looks badass. The Daiyokai Haris is pretty order-efficient with NCO. I'd go for MULTI Marksman profile though since we are more likely to see TAGs on the table. And given the fact that you don't have any hackers whatsoever aside from EVO, I'd say that this makes AP your best friend.
People's "bad" 15-order lists, look a lot like my good 15-order lists in N3, lol. I've never liked Yuan Yuan spam, for the same reason I never liked Grunt Infiltrator spam in my USARF lists. They're amazing when they land on target and get good booty, but too unreliable for my taste. Even before with EVO, it felt like doubling down on a so-so idea, and hardly something you could really develop a plan around. The biggest thing that bums me out is the lack of a Druze core, but they buffed their Haris quite a bit, so I'll survive, haha.
I would gladly take suggestions as to how improve my bad list sir :p also why not playing druze for druze core they got nice buff in N4
I also play Druze, but I liked the Druze + Tanko core, as well as some of the other Ikari support units. I wasn't calling anyone's list bad, I was saying that I think they looks good, I've been running about 15 orders for Ikari since the beginning, lol. I see a lot of people skipping over the Karakuri though, which is mind boggling, they just traded Dogged for a 3rd point of structure!
@TheDiceAbide they lost 3 points of ARM in exchange of dogged -> 1W I guess it's still a buff but yeah karakuri are great combat specialist, almost a TAG ^^
I never expected that 6 ARM to last, haha. The biggest thing I like is that while we lost the Tanko in the Druze core, the Druze Haris is FAR more viable, without that awful 1 SWC tax and DEP profile. I've also been very fond of 3-man core links for quite a while now, which was something Ikari couldn't really do, but might actually be viable now. I think a subtle, but important change for Ikari is all Parachutists have been upgraded to old AD2. The Bashi Specialist Operative dropped points, and now has flexibility for which side to deploy on making it far better for objectives. Sadly, it's probably a death knell for the Cube Jager, which was previously the cheapest AD2 specialist in the game. The Ninja KHD is probably still an auto include, but the SMG hacker is appealing as well to put on a roof and spotlight people as they go by.
I couldnt agree more. When list building in N3, I often wanted to reach for that druze haris, but the swc was so prohibitive. I can see getting some work out of it now in Ikari. I wish you were wrong about the cube jager..
Main niche I can see for the Jager is pushing a Daiyokai/Fasid/Wu Ming Haris/Kendrat up a flank, keeping the Jager in reserve to drop in with his Medikit should the excrement impact the ventilator. Medikits are significantly more reliable now.
I prefer 3-man core and a haris. The smaller links are more maneuverable and smaller targets. If they do get wiped out by a 5 point dude with a chain rifle, it's not as big of a loss. I like the flexibility and risk reduction.
It depends on their purpose really. I play very aggressively so having a 5-man defensive link sitting back firing missiles doesn't always appeal to me. With a 3-man core, I get the biggest advantage, the extra burst, and save a ton of points in the process, letting me take more order generators, or more support. I wouldn't generally take a 3-man keisotsu link, though there might be an argument for it as a super cheap offensive link (keisotsu, tanko, brawler), but a 3-man Wu Ming core link backed up by a 3-man Druze, or Tanko/Daiyokai haris is awesome.
