I'm usually pretty down on the red boys, but these changes are pretty nice. Honestly the one I'm the most stoked for though is heavy pistols across the board. Do they matter? Not all that much, sometimes. But do they make the morats feel like no-nonsense big bois who will fuck your shit? Damn right. They just feel... manlier I guess, with such a small change. In terms of profiles, can only hope that Gaki is legit, and the MSV1 Suryat for the vanguard core is pretty cool. Also the extra order Kornak is very legit. Datz lost "burst two in CC" and gained Berserk.
There fixed my most egregious omissions. I have to say, Morat are looking mighty good in N4, and like WiT? I really like the addition of heavy pistols across the board, the morat really feel like the very PHYSICAL sectorial they should be. I feel like CB listened to a lot of the suggestions regarding them, no? Though i guess Anyat is too girly to have one huh?
I believe I agreed with it but I don't think I was it's originator. I'm happy with the overall changes though. They let go of some of the old Morats can't have nice things ideology, two AD specialist profiles and mim -6 on Zerat is so good. Along with the appropriate costing of skills, Morats definitely are going to be kicking in teeth and grabbing objectives while they do it.

Am I missing something or is the Oznat tax/requirement/Hungries Control Device gone? Are the Hungries finally relegated to their proper place as the appropriately hellish hunting dogs of the Morats?
So let me get this straight: The hungries stay irregular and only produce irregular orders which i can't use on the fireteam because it would make the hungry drop out of the team instantly.
Question for you. The Oznat + Sync Preta profile has an Irregular order on the Preta. I don't see anything in the Peripheral rule that says they don't count towards the Combat Group limit or generate no orders any more... Does the Sync Preta generate an Irregular order? And can this order be used to activate both the Oznat and Preta? And do the Preta (and Auxbots, Devabots, etc) actually count towards the 10-model limit?
Correct. The flipside is that you're getting full Fireteam bonuses really freaking cheap for a Raktorak or Kornak. This is a bug in Army. Peripherals do not generate Orders, which is why they don't take up spaces in Combat Groups or Army Lists.
This is fair point, the multitude of WildCards is Pretty high now. Kornak is a competent gunfighter and there's still lots of room left over in the list.
I hoped for more on the yaogat. I like the models but they are so points expensive. Especially with all these cheap 2W models popping up for actually less points.
