Well, I hope it's not a bug but our beloved combat jumping hooded mercenary got a little bit harder to hit. And Knauf is an option now:
Well so far he's still no defensive Sniper but as an active attack piece he clearly competes with the Brawler Sniper in terms of damage output. Unfortunatrly the Stun Ammo is gone from the MULTI weapons thich means he needs that extra shot.
Fireteams got a lot more flexible, which is a very nice thing. Emily didnt get worse (honestly expected her to be nerfed) - shes the same but cheaper. Uhahu got better as well. Improvements to Bandits (martial arts, booty) have made the midfield game a bit more fun, and the Riot Grrl buffs are super nice - that was always my core of choice for StarCo, but on the flip side, Alguaciles + Brigada is now a tasty choice as well.
Emily gets affected by the Grenade launcher change. No more +3 range but they get +0 out to 24" and targeted is much more effective now.
Also Targetted doesnt negate the -6 from specfire anymore, so spotlight just brings it up to base BS in a fireteam.
Well Emily will hit stuff speculatively on a 7 / 10 / 13 up to 32" away, that's still not too bad. Another thing I found is the minelaying Hawwa Sniper: I can imagine that the Hawwa will be quite a trap together with the Hardcase.
Riot Grrls got the HI move bump, +1 Damage and Shock Immunity, but lost Fireteam: Core (never had a 5-grrl team, so no loss that I can see...)
So after playing three games of n4 starco here's what I found interesting. -Hellcat on 15s is a beast -Alguaciles+Mobiles+Daktari fireteam is really good. -Emily is still really scary to people -Massacre eats CC specialists for breakfast. Seriously, don't sleep on the guy, he's pretty rad.
These are two lists I'd like to try: the Alguacil will be the weak spot in this Fireteam but with a bit of luck I might have enough command tokens left to put the Daktari in the 1st CG and let her link with the Brigadas This list builds on the deception by the Hawwa's two Camo markers who will be seen as a Hardcase with his Decoy
