It's not playing to the faction's main gimmick of having Hawkwood around but it's a solid enough list. Interchangeable Haidaos and Orcs in the link, the attacking button-pushing Kaplan Haris backed up by Guilang and Nokken. Tao Wu would be posing as Hawkwood waiting to fill up the link of Fusiliers. Having trained my wildcard list building with Qapu Khalqi, these interchangeable links become second nature. Here's another fun one, a bit more appropriate for the overall theme of WC. Guijia and Kaplan Core will do the primary job, double Sierras are for defensive duties (backed up by the Kaplan Engineer if needed). Overall, an absolute beast of a sectorial, 10/10.
Two quite interesting lists, I would say! The second one looks like a lot of fun - at least for one player and is something nobody would really expect. What is your purpose for the EVO-mule in the first list? With many gear gone of this REMs, you really need to have a clear use here.
two WC list mostly straight forward hawkwood is expensive but unhackable OrcO HMG Haidao MSR 2xVarangian or the auto include of this sectorial
White Company is another Trojan horse army that is designed to gently lead you down the garden path of collecting another faction. That said, I own a bit of pano and I could do Yu Jing I suppose... Core of Fusi + Haidao obviously strong. Duo of Karhu both with NCO also very good and highly efficient as god-killers. You have Hacking Device Plus (what?!) and Smoke to defeat both visor and non-visor adversaries. Lot of love, all the tools. Sidenote, anyone know when the N4 book with all the White company/Sval/White Banner fluff is coming out?
I tried to give it a shot, but I'm still defining few things I was thinking about making space for a Danavas, as the White Noise complements well with all the Mimetism -3/-6 in the list
Absolutely. I applied few changes to the list after my last post, but I forgot to update it :D Basically I upgraded the Karhu with a Kaplan engineer, switched the Sierra with a Mulebot, upgraded the Peacemaker with the Spitfire option and inserted the lovely Danavas <3
Really nice ideas here! What I personally like best about WC is that is has both my favorite TAG as well as my two favorite remotes, the Bulleteer and the Peacemaker! I’m veeeeery tempted to get on board.
Looks really nice! Only thing that bothers me is the lonesome Kaplan engineer. Maybe swap him for a Zanshi Engineer and use the free points to upgrade a fugazi to a Zanshi Doctor?
From the N4 games I played so far a linked Tinbot really opens up a HI Hacker in the same link. -6 -3DAM and -6WIP so you're fairly durable vs opposing KHDs with your own Hacker, free Sixth Sense *Jammer * like ZOC defense for your Link and hard lockdown against Hackable targets (which aren't exactly rare). Even basic Fusilier Hackers in defensive Link teams are supremely annoying for anything trying to penetrate your DZ now, just make sure your opponent doesn't have easy access to your Repeaters, even then you get a free Firewall he can't ignore and it's a 15 points dude with a +3 ARO and lasting effects against its counters. That's a lot better defense than the usual Linetrooper has against a B4 gun. For White Company I'd honestly try to fit the KHD and HD into my Core Links.
I feel white company is one of the first armies i do t really need to try extra hard to get the 15 orders with, g40AAIEsAgEKAYO2AQIAAoHQAQEAA4TeAQUABAUBCAAFBQEOAAYBAQgABwEBAQAIhbUBBAAJEwEBAAoBAQYAAgUBfgEEAAKFtQEEAAOAhgEFAAQTAQEABSQBAQA= This is something ive been working on Going to force myself in my next list to make a heavy skirmish list with a stronger midfield possibly with out a core fireteam maybe ony a nisse harris but this list is one im real exited to use, I love tiger soldiers to bits so cant wait to get to use him,
Nisses do not have Haris in WC. The Core in your list looks solid, although I feel like fielding Kaplans gives you more flexibility with Jujaks and can be cheapened with CSUs, in addition to including hackers.
Nisses do have Haris in WC (at least that's what the Army says), what they don't have is the Core they have in Svalarheima's Winter Force.
It says they have the skill, they need the skill and to be specified on the Sectorial chart, as per the Fireteam Haris rules, which I screenshotted and highlighted the relevant part.
Sorry, I did not know that some sheets, which are not in the rulebook, were more official than the Army information. For my part, unless a clarification says otherwise or it is shown that the inclusion of the ability is a bug ... if a troop has an ability, they can use it.
