Hello everyone! We expect to release all the N4 free assets tomorrow friday september 25th, from 12:00PM CEST (or UTC +2) on (could be at 01:00PM or 02:00PM, but we're aiming at 12:00PM). Thank you for your patience, and please, keep it civil. I personally think this is an exciting moment in this dark times we're living, so, let's try to enjoy it :) Take care!
I agree that UTC is/should be the standart of worldwide communications. But if you only give the UTC, not erveryone will know what time it is on their clock. And it would be very wierd if everyone had the same time, making it midday at 12:00 UTC in austria, but 18:00 UTC on the US west coast. Not to think of using the "correct" suntime, giving every city its own time. But this might be fun to confuse people Don't take me too serious on that.
TBH, it should be part of kindergarten education in any country where literacy is taken for granted to know what a time zone is and what time zone you are in. Certainly was for me, though I learned GMT which is only slightly different from UTC in not always meaningful ways.
I think this may be interesting for all of you: https://www.infinitythegame.com/blog/item/830-functionality-of-infinity-army-7
"List saving: From this moment on, there is no limit on the number of lists that can be saved." THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Still hoping for some in-app fireteam support like colormarking possible fireteams or maybe a fireteam chart for each sectorial.
Having looked through the book, I can see no profiles at all! Aside from the backgrounds, of course... You know what else isn't there! Chapters on ALEPH and Tohaa! My Cylons are being phased out??? Some other random observations: 1. The two volumes are still floppy softbacks... I've been hoping for hardbacks, they are more comfortable to read. 2. The text is *tiny*! Aaaaargh! I expect days of migraines from reading these books... (seriously, I tried reading the Tunguska chapter in Daedalus' Fall and I was in serious pain for two days...). This is scary 3. The Haqqislam's basic remotes finally have a name: Murafeq. Thank you! I couldn't understand why they were the only basic remotes without their own name...
So before anyone complain tomorrow about the missing profiles, here is the release date for the next wave : Good news, it won't be Movember so no need to grow a moustache
The UK (and certainly other countries) had local time zones which meant the time would be different in every town or city, it wasn't until the railways adopted GMT that all of Britain began to all be on the same time. Mainly because trying to write a timetable when Upper Ramsbottom is 12 minutes behind Wetwang gets really hard, and even harder for people to understand! The churches were often holdouts (what a surprise!) so you'd have towns where the church clock and station clock would be different, and often visible from the same place.
I know. That was the reason to respond. Local timezones make things easier for lots of peoplewho live quite close together. But it gets wierd for cuntries like china, which should have 3 or 4 time zones of 15° width, but instesd just uses beijing time. So in the west the sun is at the highest point at around 3 pm
Please explain this to me. There's going to be a second book in November, with the fluff for the rest of the factions?
Considering that the CombArmy is encroaching on Concilium, where Aleph's core systems are based, maybe Aleph is due for a big fluff shakeup in the next expansion!
Gah! I knew it! We're being deleted! Noooooooooooooooooo!!! *breaths deeply* Anyway, a new expansion is a possibility. Or... maybe CB is already planning N4 Human Sphere, or something? That makes me wonder: are the rules in the N4 Rulebook complete? I remember that Human Sphere had crucial stuff that wasn't included in N3 (like Fireteams). And it changed stuff in N3, like some rules and weapon profiles. Are we to expect that, in a year, there will an N4 Human Sphere book that will once again change what was just published in N4..?
What happened to the Famous or Kameel Remotes?? Are Rafiq, Shihab and Shaytaniha still there?? Or is the Murafeq a new kind of Remote?
As far as I can tell, Murafeq are the collective names for the existing four basic Haqq remotes. They aren't going anywhere :) Note that, before, ALEPH's basic remotes were collectively called Rebots, YJ's basic remotes were Yaokongs... but Haqq's basic remotes were simply named "Haqqislam Remotes". Which was weird. Now they are going to be called Murafeqs, but they are still the same four remotes as before. :) As for Kameels... they will probably stay as Kameels. They didn't get a fluff write-up in the book, but I can't image them being scrapped.
