They're not hard to find, but I wouldn't recommend sharing them anywhere neat these forums. That said, while they might give a basic idea of what CB may have intended for N4 at some point during development, they're not reflective of the final product. It's worth more for fun speculation than any concrete theorycrafting.
I'm glad that the Guilang's price point finally reflects its premium skirmisher status. For too long it was the same price as other higher tier camo skirmishers, like the BS12, regenerating Shrouded. Finally, with the price cuts to other skirmishers, including a 21pt Shrouded, and a 1pt increase to the Guilang, it's elite status has been reaffirmed. No idea what you guys are getting salty about
Maybe corvus Belli is doing an old school corporate move on yu jing and just gradually pricing them out of the game?
I think it might be reflecting a slight rise in cost because of the MSV1 changes, which I think is completely fair. Guilangs are going to be even more dangerous next edition, I'll pay 1pt for that.
I don't think anybody is gonna be salty about Guilangs. Vanilla's midfield presence looks pretty terrific right now.
Right now guilang and shrouded are the same price. We gain 1 arm trade bs for wip, and trade automedkit for msv1. Their combi minelayer is 1 point cheaper than our. Looks like msv1 and automedkit cost the same, bs and wip trade equally so we pay 1 for 1 arm. If shrouded price is going down and guilangs up it might mean that regeneration is almost free now and msv1 is going 1 point up. Considering this paired with cheaper arm and hackable discount I wouldn't be surprised if Krit gets like 10 points cheaper across all profiles.
I think he's talking about the leaked shrouded, the FO profile is 21 pts. EDIT: The Guilang FO profile is 26, it actually went down 1pt from the N3 version. The deployable repeater moved off the FO profile to the Minelayer profile who went up one point to 27pts. I think the point change is the deployable repeater moving. If that goes through that's a fucking massive change for Yu Jing in the hacking game. Having the ability to start with infiltrated repeaters up and running without needing to spend an order is a fucking huge deal, we'd literally jump tiers in hacking prowess overnight.
I know it is about leaked, I'm comparing them now and if leaked prices are accurate then my conclusions about regeneration are valid.
Krit got deployable repeaters in the minelayer profile, +3 CC and NCO in all profiles but he's mostly the same price (1 to 3 points less). I really don't get the supposed ARM and Hackable discount.
42pt Feuerbach on a specialist with NCO in an LT2 sectorial/faction that can core link is a decent deal IMO. Real talk if that change goes through I'll stop calling him Dick Shitram. Not super sold on the other profiles, though depending on how hacking shakes out the deployable repeater minelayer might actually be pretty decent. The 36pt Multi Rifle profile isn't terrible either given it still brings NCO to his link.
In that case he might be good alternative for tai. Both 14 wip specialists with nco. Pick and choose what you need most for pain train. And mini is so so much better :)
I was a little terrified after friday leak, but now after some time passed and logical thinking kicked in I'm actually quite optimistic. We see at least some interesting ideas to change some things, YJ getting more deployable repeaters and other cool things like coalas on hulang. And we should assume that prices will be fair, unless they hand adjusted the fk out of domarus and other units it looks like good times for YJ.
If the changes to Xi Zhuang are true, he's dropped the Light Flamethrower and picked up a double grenade launcher for 0 SWC and 1 point. In other words, become mandatory. Perhaps more mandatory than Kuang Shi. The Shrouded seems baked without a points cost on Regeneration. Zeros, a skirmisher in roughly the same price category, is one point more expensive (though the Multi Sniper is missing 6 points) Krit also lost Regeneration/Automedikit. Definitely a huge improvement, though we have to remember that NCO got a further nerf in that the LT2 profiles are more expensive. What I'm most worried about is that the two HI with ARM 3 shown so far are stupidly cheap. As in cheap enough that I think they violate the balance fairly grossly. When compared to other HI in the leak, there is a Frenzy skill missing that they haven't shown yet which would explain it. Explain it, but still leave us with questions as to how Frenzy works. I think most HI in the leak have reasonable prices, provided they don't have Frenzy in it. The two they chose to show officially, however, have prices which are so low that not being able to take cover (whether in a Fireteam or not) seems like a reasonable level of drawback. Edit: It's easy to forget that Ariadna is getting essentially their first real heavy infantry in the Armata-4, which unlike Evaders and Domaru do not show a crazy power curve. Yes, AP HMG +1B at 45 points is good, but we're still talking about what is essentially a Haidao. So I think for the time being I'm simply going to put the official Evaders and Domaru profiles down as "highly suspect"
True, but the Daoying was already so disgustingly good I don't think it pushes him to any point where people (particularly IA) will stop taking him.
Point of contention; with the Boarding Shotgun profile showing up with LT1 in the leak and regular Hacking Devices no longer having any stationary utility, I think the most viable profile has shifted to the Multi Sniper. This will cramp the IA SWC space a bit which limits list building. Generally speaking for IA in particular this is a small nerf, but for vanilla it's a bit of a buff as in general the number of LT2 profiles went up with IA seeming set to gain a couple. No Qiang Gao in the data and the person doing the screenshots missed the Jujak :( PS. all the Sun profiles are listing LT2 - and then let me dampen your mood and say that so does the Avatar.
Good point on the HD being less useful. I didn't actually notice the BSG lost LT2, that's actually kinda unexpected.
