If true then the difference between Wildcats and Grenzers is minimal. Interestingly Grrls stayed in the same price range. SuJian dropped 10% although he was pretty good in N3 already. But obviously it needed the 5 points drop ... I'll wait another week for the full picture, but until now ... this looks like it will become the "Armor Edition". I think it depends on hacking now ...

riots get better and cheaper, win-win for them. poor grenzers... all my recently aquired enthusiasm about them (and other units) seeing what was happening to other units gone away in a flash. Well, I will try to wait before saying doom and so, because this might be fake or a mistake (I really hope it is a mistake, or that CB decides to do the bolt treatment to grenzers) being serious, 2 points for getting 1 arm (when in this new edition is getting cheaper) and courage, but loosing terrain total and number 2, and getting directly more expensive than previous edition where arm got cheaper and better units got better and cheaper seems a bit wrong. I really hope you are right
For heaven's sake, guys. Leaked, unofficial, unconfirmed profiles - yet you already complain and whine about them. How about that YJ Zuyong Lt (IIRC) profile that was shown carrying 3 or 4 Pistols & Shock CCWs? And even after Army 7 gets released, we'll be seeing CB hunting out bugs and typos for a month or so - if previous updates are to be any guide. Chill. For one, these profiles are WIP. And two, I'm pretty sure whatever changes CB inteded fro them, has been already decided. compaining now isn't going to change anything. So why waste your energy...?
IF this would be true... why bother with grenz once again? After the Wildcats profile, this is a shit. I would like to have back the cats without MSV and have the Grenz at the old price.
Pretty interesting, but like the ARM 5 Mobile Brigada, I'm not holding my breath. 1.5 SWC HMG on an ARM 5 HI? Don't think so. Still, little things like D-Charges on the Hacker are nice, pointing to some niche optimisation here. Also, the much-cheaper Multi Rifle explains a lot about the Evaders.
We just bring opinions about the info we have. We are aware that these can be fake or obsolete info, but is what we have for debate. If someone has deeper info... Feel free to put it.
IJW has spent the last few weeks proofreading new profiles, if anyone is going to know if this is legit or not it's him.
I'm still convinced that we must wait for the official profiles and rules. But... I'm hoping for something better for the Grenzers. Also, I'm curious about Riot Girls. As we seen, them and Wildcats lost their stun grenades, so this weapon could be delated from the game.
Regarding Grenzers I have my doubt. If IJW knows the profiles ... from his reactions to my reaction to Grenzcats I could extrapolate that Grenzers are still like before and only some of the loadouts differ from Wildcats. Same niche and everything. And while I think the profiles (all of them, YuJing, Nomads and so on) are not final, I doubt they are all completely wrong. Who would build an Army-Test-Database and insert 100 profiles deliberately wrong so you have to correct them later on. It would be much easier to try to insert them right in the first place and then correct only a few mistakes later on.
I have doubts too. And I'm really disappointed about it. We now have a better copy of a pre-existent profile, while this one doesn't show interesting improvements. I'm not telling improvements were needed, I'm just complaining about a bad managing of existing profiles. This is my opinion, without losing interest in the game or trust in the company.
The "leaked" Mobile Brigada has a hacker option with a 0 point Hacking Device and a 0SWC Light Grenade Launcher on the Lieutenant which costs the same as a Light Flamethrower. As for deliberately wrong databases, there are going to be dozens of versions of the database full of half-implemented changes and typos that they can draw on to test the functionality of the Army Builder. They want to see if it displays text and numbers correctly without crashing.
Imagine getting Pano or YJ hopes up in case of a leak just to squash them on release. That would be... outrageous. Regarding whether or not we should believe the leaks, we can't know for sure till 25 (and even then a few days till they fix all bugs). IJW here may be telling truth. Or he's just trying to damage controll so we don't end up whining the whole week till release like YJ plebs. Some of the profiles look quite convincing (the others with 0 swc hackers or minelayers not so much). I'll find it hilarious if Grenzers end up still useless after all these 6-7 years since release, being replaced by new and better version of them. Anyway, there's no other news or response from CB so why not just speculate a bit?
