Talking about Kosmoflot with a friend of mine who is a die-hard CHA player, they seem like most of the good things from CHA combined with some of the good things from TAK. Mostly they lose the Galwegian, but pick up a Varangian which in 15 orders mode is a sidegrade more than a downgrade. You give CHA Irmandinos, some kind of antipode pack and that fucking airdrop werewolf? Yeah not looking forward to facing that
I'm sorry, that's Sergeant "Fucking Spacedrop Werewolf" Duroc for you, in Kosmoflot. And then there's the werebear.
well from what i heard CB nuked SAA with many of its scuplts being less than a year old. so anything is possible
yeah, but he's explicitly saying "don't worry, we're replacing the old handsculpted CHA stuff with new N4 sculpts with good proportions". The fuck is wrong with those? :|
You guys know what weirds me out about Kosmoflot? The fact that "Kosmoflot" is almost literally the same name as "Starmada". Only in Russian...
Look no ones ever said that the Kazaks where a very original people, or particularly good at naming things...
Would rather literally anyone than another frigging Russian with an autocannon. For something that people so boldly equate to "Ariadnan", it's remarkably nonexistent outside of the Russians. You mean "Corvus Belli", not the Kazaks.
Considering that our was O-12 that commissioned the Ariadnan high command to create Kosmoflot, it's quite appropriate.
No i meant the Kazaks because its funnier for the joke. As someone who truly sucks at naming things (I'm sorry my future children) I'm not about to give CB any guff over it. especially since for the most part what they choose is nice and evocative of what they want a model or sectorial to be.
Oh, I don't have bad feelings about Kosmoflot being similar to Starmada (especially as I don't play either Ariadna or O-12)... I just find it strange. Anyway, being Polish, I also find Kosmoflot pleasantly funny. Slavic languages are close enough that words in one of them tend to sound funny to speakers of another...
... or Kosmo-płot ;) *ducks* Seriously speaking - for me, Kosmoflot brings up the image of some clunky Soviet-era-style spaceship, painted in bright colours and with a rather zany crew...
