Explain this to me, please: what does "SKU" mean? Does it mean that it's the models that will get replaced? Or are we talking about units being completely dropped? If the latter, does it mean that the Thorakitai, the Dactyls etc. are just... gone? I own these models...
its only the physical models are temporarily discontinued from production (cant buy from CB store), SP and its units can still be played and used
SKU = Stock Keeping Unit The models will no longer be for sale, their rules will remain. If you already have the models this has no effect on you.
Ah, I see. Phew. BTW. I'm kind of surprised to see some of these models go, while Marut is still being kept. If I was to point out outdated ALEPH models, it would definitely be on the list...
I'm curious, too. On the other hand, I was just planning to sell a few of these and now I'm wondering if anyone will want them... Hm. I know, but... she's weird. She looks very flimsy for an S7 unit and her knees are... absurd. She sticks out among current ALEPH models. She's so strange I'm not even sure I want to assemble her. Seriously, I don't get why she stays while perfectly nice models like the Thorakitai (from the box) or the Dactyls are deemed unfit.
If anything, your existing models are likely to go up in value. The Marut stays because it’s in OperationS, not Steel Phalanx.
Oh? Now that's interesting... :D Ah. That's why there was no mention of phasing out the old Devas... Anyway, I'm happy, because now I can sell my Nesaie without any bad feelings. Double so, actually: just a moment ago, I finished assembling my Chandra, which I'm intending on using as a Nesaie proxy. So, I don't need the actual Nesaie mini, which I never really liked... and if I'm not satisfied with Chandra-as-Nesaie, there's a new Nesaie mini coming up. Cool!
I realy wonder why they kick out the Thorakitai, but they kicked the Acon Starter und the "new" Caledonia Stuff ... but I have already what I need for SP. The bad thing is, there will be new - and probably good looking - stuff for my Aleph that I have to paint again ...
Because the current box is a SWC box, not an actual unit box. It's meant to go with the SP starter set. Shame they didn't just choose to do SP v CJC next year. Both starters are old enough that it would be a good thing, and both need some actual attention that isn't just "New hat!" levels.
