I think the challenge for your green and blue is that they are of the same value (i.e. bright/darkness). If you make the green accents either brighter or darker they will stand out more. Imho brighter might work better. Edit: one quick way to check value is to take a black/white photo. If the colours are in the same range of grey then they have the same value.
actually I didn’t want the green to stand out more, which is why I darkened it. I just don’t like green and blue together as a color combo as it doesn’t pop well on military miniatures. Looks good on beach house Or bathroom though lol
INFINITY PANOCEANIA: Operation Icestorm Battle Pack So I never really planned to do Pano, but then I got the battle pack as it was going out of production (plus the expansion). I gotta say I really liked how these guys turned out and enjoyed painting the green/blue even though there is a lot of mixing the base colour which is not practical. You could choose a fairly equivalent blue and not mix colours but I wanted to take on a challenge, plus I'm in no hurry to paint hundreds of models for this faction. One day when the borders open I'll finally get my base toppers posted and finish them... one day. Half the year gone and I managed to do three factions, which is pretty good for a slow painter.
lol. I’m slow per model but have been prolific due to the extra time given to me due to the covid lockdown.
INFINITY JSA - O-Yoroi Pilot Bootleg Conversion Well I skipped my August painting log (too many photos to take lol) and went straight to my big September project. So this long gestating project finally came into fruition. It took a couple of weeks of painting to finish and was quite a task indeed to get done. Paining white is so slow to do, but all the added detail was very time consuming also. The freehand took half a day and the battle damage another half. The pilot herself took a couple of sessions also and was tricky to get done due to her legs being in the way of a lot of detail. Overall there were so many nooks and crannies to paint that were hard to get too. One trick I used was to paint the tail as a sub-assembly, which I try to avoid as much as possible because gluing things back together always results in nicks and scratches here and there, which thankfully could be hidden with a bit of battle damage. I chose colours to match my Konoe JSA army and am happy to have this miniature as a centerpiece, finally. I left the lights off since the TAG is in a powered down state. I also didn't paint much OSL in the cockpit, other than TV screens, since I don't think it reads well on the studio Bootleg versions. The kanji script on the leg spells "O-Yoroi" in case you were wondering. Finally I just love the expressiveness of the lovey and delicate pilot compared to the chunky mecha armour, very much an homage to Shirow - pure cheesecake anime! and now time for big screw up and CB will decide a max ava for Yaoi is 1 XD looks nice :) all tho gun looks unfinihed

INFINITY YU JING WHITE BANNER ARMY: Zhanshi Been a while since I posted new stuff. Did these guys around September but been waiting for new lighting setup to arrive in the post. Anyways I think I have improved my picture quality by using the lights in conjunction with my humble camera phone. Zhanshi Humble troopers but warm with their snow jackets. Painted them pretty close to studio colours, but I have dropped the green and gone with black to match my Invincible Army troops. I like the lady with the hood the most. Frustrating. Pics displayed perfectly on PC bit blurry on mobile device. Just fixed (I think). Not perfect though
You had linked the low resolution blog images, URLs with /s320/, 320 pixel in largest axis (IIRC 640, 800, 1024, 1280 and 1600 are common values... 3200 also worked, but it returned a "smaller" image which I guess is the original resolution), now you used /w640-hXXX/ or /wXXX-h640/ (this style is new to me), so double size.
blogger is so annoying. If you select original size than the pics look horrible and blown up. Medium looked perfect on my pc but to low res on mobile device. Settled with large so pics are ok on both devices. Problem is that all pics are slightly different sizes due to cropping so it’s hard to get a set size. Plus too many pics to be bothered with adjusting scale properly on each one.
