I like the desaturated, more "realistic" look, even though my own Yu Jing is a garish combination of bright orange and dark purple. I also like the stripe on the barret. Looks stylish.

Its funny guys but I actually try to paint things bright yet they always turn out dark. Must be a reflection of my soul...

INFINITY JSA: Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot Conversion Guide

    Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot Conversion Guide
It's been a long time since I worked on my favorite army, JSA! The Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot is one of my all time favourite Infinity models. It is pure cheesecake mecha, both sexy and deadly. A lovely model to be sure and one of the reasons I wanted to collect both JSA and Infinity. However I was too exhausted after modeling and painting my first O-Yoroi to have a go at it in the past, especially trying to convert it like the wonderful Senior Giladez's version that we are all familiar with. A couple of years later, an additional army or two, plus a global pandemic as well as the model going out of production sending me into a panic buy (again!) meant that it was finally time to give this model conversion a crack.

The guide is way too long for the forum but check it out at:

Great job mate. I always wanted to do that conversion as well. It's probably not something you would often field and it's more a display piece but it looks great.

Or you could use it in some special scenarios. I can imagine making some home rules for this O-yoroi: every male model in ZOC and having LOS need to pass a WIP test or get isoleted :)

INFINITY PANOCEANIA SVALARHEIMA: Nisse (Multi Sniper Rifle)
This guy was probably one of my favorites to paint in the Pano battleforce. I was fairly comfortable with the blue now and it was a breeze to do. The coat took ages but I'm happy with the textures. Question is should I add snow or not to the base?...

Great job on the Nisse. That white coat must have been a challenge to paint.

I say yes to the snow base too.

    yeah, white always takes ages.

actually I was talking my morning walk today and daydreaming about adding snow. I’m currently painting Kaldstrom so I think I’ll swap this guy with the Lazarus guy.

Do you have any painting videos on YouTube? Any color, any model. I want to see how you get such crazy beautiful gradients on these tiny plates. You’re my hero.

INFINITY PANOCEANIA VARUNA: Orc (Multi Rifle)
So since I'm Australian I decided to make Veruna my main sectorial because there is a bit of Aussie written into their fluff. Thou I gotta say that I really like the way the black and skull face accent colours go with the Pano blue. This guy was became my absolute favorite in the set, after I had added all the little details. Hope to do a bunch of other Orcs someday as they have become my favorite Pano troop type after this guy (Donno why people don't like Orcs and don't care cos I love em lol!).

INFINITY PANOCEANIA ACONTECIMENTO : Akalis Sikh Commando (Combi Rifle)
So I wasn't sure how I could fit green into the palette as it is a bit difficult to pull off well with blue so this guy posed a bit of a problem for me in terms of colour selection. So I chose a black helm with green stripes. He turned out OK in the end and I quite enjoyed painting the jump pack despite my initial reservations about the model. I also realised that in the end it would be quite fun to do all Pano sectorials one day with their main accent colours that distinguish them from the different Pano worlds Red (Neoterra), White (Svalarheima), Green (Acontecimento) and Turquoise (Varuna)... I believe.

INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Father Knight

So the final guy in the Ice Storm set is done. I was going to do big black crosses on the shoulders but changed my mind as I liked the shadow on the white a lot so I ended up doing the traditional iconography. The freehand Father Night cross was too small to do properly so is a bit of a blob. But the Pano emblem turned out ok. Im most happy with the OSL though and it seems to sell the glowing sword quite well. I just hope I get the base toppers sent someday when this pandemic finally ends so I can finish him and his compatriots!
