So seeing how you wish to build fireteams, I definitely understand your disappointment of WB. I myself would never build such a fireteam, and prefer the 2 aro piece and goons defensive link, or the barebones active link with a gunner+secondary+specialist. I feel that WB already can make those links, and I hope N4 gives us more. I do also like a beefy Haris, but I can never justify a beefy 5-man unless I take Hollowmen.
That's pretty much it with WB. I can't make the type of core teams I want. For some reason Ye Mao can't do a core but for some reason, their equivalents in other sectorals can, and it makes me jealous as hell. I'm not a fan of the cheap Zhanshi or expensive SJ. The Z team gets destroyed with ease so far and when I try to do SJ I'm obligated to do a limited insertion and it's just not good that way. After getting my ass handed to me so many times with YJ you kinda need to put a stop to it.

Time for something else. Lets talk Oktavia and Tao Wu. I would take take TW in vanilla for sure. He's a pretty good back field guy. Burst 3 Nanopulsar is pretty sweet. Due to Oktavia I'm pretty sure I can now make a YJ army without YJ troops.

I wonder if Haidao CoC is available in White Company. Not that it makes much of a difference, just wondering if they have IA access or merely Vanilla access.
I will be honest, I am looking at running White Company as full YuJing variant through proxies, because why not, and it gives a different favour.
White Company looks like fun to try if you kept both halves of a Kaldstrom box. I think the biggest win of the NA2 sectorials has been encouraging people to branch out into owning models from a second top-level faction.
I already do that with my White Tigers of the West Dahshat. And right now White Company looks more White Banner to me than WB.
