The Renegade path was a legitimate way to play the game and there were no inherent disadvantages attached to it. It was the choice between playing the good guy vs. the evil guy - a choice that is present in pretty much every RPG there ever was. It's what the "Role" in "Roleplaying" refers to.
Gunnar's fluff on the website makes it pretty clear they're a fringe group moving under the radar and use their lofty ideals as an excuse for their own bigotry. Gunnar had his "Hans, are we the baddies?" moment pretty early on in life.

It's a specific way of arranging the back three fingers to form a 'w' when viewed from the front, with the thumb and forefinger 'lining up' with the middle finger to form the 'p'. Not that I'm aware. NHAK happened when Sval sectorial happened. To quote the Gunnar thread: And I'd rather see some reply from one of the Staff, like Koni, Bellen or best from Gutier himself. They should disavow those themes and symbols. Otherwise with so many occurences and "coincidences" it's starting to look really poorly.
