Hell, for any of the regular non impetuous bikers. I would love to have the option to used mechanized deployment and lose the bike.
Take away impetuous from bikers. It doesn't make sense anyway, I guess it's supposed to simulate that bikes have momentum? It doesn't really work. Why is every biker a lunatic with a death wish? If bikers aren't impetuous, then when they dismount they can get cover. Now it's realistic(ish): use your bike to get where you're going, but then dismount to fight. If you try to fight while riding, you suffer a huge disadvantage, represented by being unable to use cover. Keep impetuous on only a few bikers where it's thematic, like the Kum. They use chain rifles anyway. A chain rifle is just as effective on a bike as off it, you're just racing towards your target while spraying bullets everywhere either way.
why do people want to take the uniquely 'infinity' things out of the game infinity is a spanish anime about heavily-armed space-bikers (among other incredibly bodacious things i.e. mech suits, space pope, kilts, hackers, space achilles, holograms, big alien lion men, space china, killer fursonas, guerilla fighter abe sapien, weaponised flash photography, intelligent asparagus, etc.)
Was really hoping they were gonna update their look a bit more. It's mostly a higher quality version of the original pic. Duroc looks pretty great still though. But man Margot really needed a bit more of an update. Really not a fan of the bare midriff armor. Even more; how the hell does she qualify as heavy infantry wearing that. Still, overall the quality of the scupt on this looks amazing. Maybe they'll get more done on them when the french get a proper update some years from now.
Motorbikes are hardly a unique 'Infinity' thing. And not liking them adding more is not the same as taking them away.
I would argue that the 'uniquely infinity' aspect that the bikes add to is the overall vast diversity of unit types in the game, as well as the really fun and often bizarre fluff which is brimming with "rule of cool" aspects (also...akira is like the first cyberpunk thing ever and it has lots of cool bikes) as such, I feel that any "verisimilitude" justification for these admittedly silly biker units existing is pretty much extraneous (people were starting to bicker about whether or not someone could reliably aim and shoot from a bike, in a game full of much weirder stuff) TL;DR that judge dredd lightcycle is very exciting for me and I can't wait to see the sculpt (I really wanted O12 to get a bike because I mainly collect bike-bereft sectorials. I'm thus heavily biased)
I may be seeing things, but looking at the Starmada (perhaps worst name ever) box pic, is there a hooded figure or perhaps long haired female in the bright light area behind the main figures? Also looks like there could be something in the dark on the right rear area of the pic too, but that could just be structural.
Akira is not the first cyberpunk thing ever. But it’s fucking cool so... yeah. Edit: Omg is Akira the first cyberpunk thing ever ?! Lol I was sure neuromancer was written before it but I was wrong . Akira is even cooler now.
Blade Runner was June 1982...and the book it was based upon was earlier. The manga Akira was December 1982 apparently.
I wonder if anyone has considered that the bike may transform like the nomad zondnautica? Because the 0-12 is bound to have the tech to make the bike transform.
