Ah, right. Wrong company. I thought they were somewhat related to CB/Luxumbra, though, but it was terribly hard to look up the info on them due to their generic enough name back when I tried to near the release of that collector's mini. What were they called again? Point still stands, though, wouldn't be the first time they have a collab with a different company making a different scale mini for a unit redesign.
Busy Minds Collectibles. And i still want that statues on my shelves. Waiting for them to relaunch the campaing
Soooo too early to speculate on the French being the first Ariadna Sectorial to get resculpts (and ofc a rule revision) in N4? The timing is a little too convenient to just ignore.
They did say we'd see the first "returned" Sectorial in 2021 with a Shasvastii-esque revamp, and I would dearly love for it to be FRRM.
I really hope they no longer come out with sectorals after the O-12 and White Company. There's plenty. Now go back and re-work existing ones like MRRF, QK, etc.
Luxumbra are releasing Equipe Mirage 5 tomorrow as a large sculpt. Last time they had a new sculpt I believe it was a new Tiger and then we had a large YJ release (Kaldstrom). They could be riffing off existing 3d sculpts.
The Luxumbra Tiger was part of the original 2017 Kickstarter, about six months after Red Veil and it's Tiger hacker, but the new Tiger design predates that by a year or so.
That's my point. The new Tiger hacker sculpt for Luxumbra was based on existing 3D sculpts. So the new Mirage sculpts are likely to be based on something already in existence, right?
They're based off the mural on the CB HQ, also the box art from the current Mirage-5. Sadly it's not as easy as printing the sculpt at a smaller size to make a 32mm scale one, the O-Yoroi pilot had to be resculpted to be produced at the smaller scale, as did the Shang Ji compared to the Busy Mind version. A new version of Margot and Duroc would be very nice though. Mural with bonus IJW:
So, looks like Starmada is bringing us the HMG Kappa, Saladin, a biker, HI with MK12 and badass longcoat, a third general release Delta, and a Kappa(?) with akimbo pistols! Judging by the cover art anyway.
Are you sure that's a Delta and not a Crusher? Chest is too rounded and helmet has a bit weird light slats that Delta doesn't seem to have. What gun is that on the HI? Looks halfway between an O-12 HMG and an P-12 Spitfire.
lol, of course there's a biker in the STARMADA... They really want to lean into the whole "LOOK NORDS!" thing, eh?
Could well be a Crusher, I think my first instinct for Delta was fuelled by CB's love of AD trooper sculpts. I think the "Bron" HI is holding a Mk12, barrel is different to the Aleph ones though. Edit: It was pointed out in the Starmada Speculation thread that it mostly matches the concept we've seen for an O-12/Aleph Red Fury.
