Hrm, that profile should be about 3 to 6 points more expensive not the other way around. Not even Liu Xing pays that much for AD4. I think it's more likely that one is using N3 points and the other is N4
Ah. Fair enough. So it's just another hand-adjusted profile then... Even the Combat Jump profile looks a bit on the cheap side.
I have a feeling that Bio immunity is going away and just having Shock Immunity. I can totally see Viral being DA Ammo, Saves versus BTS, and has the Shock Trait in N4. That seems like an easy simplification. I am just not sure if the Shock trait will change.
I suspect the Shock Immunity is just going to be something they give to Protheion users instead of the current immunity-after-use setup rather than anything specific to Ko.
I do not get the pose of the miniature due to the angle it was photographed: Apparently she has two legs - but in my mind this green something is always seen as legs - three of them.
I'm going to cut that green thing straight off so there is less visual confusion around the bottom half. She should look great just leaning to the right like that.
They probably couldnt find proper balance for a dynamic pose without that support. Even my Garuda bsg requires counterweight in the base and this ko dali looks more extreme
That pose does have "metal fatigue in the ankles" written all over it, if you try to remove the base decorations/supports.
I think the brain instinctively interprets green as “alien” and if there was a different color choice on the support it would look less like it was a part of the figure.
I've never had that problem with all the "one foot on the ground and leaning" poses. The miniatures are nowhere near heavy enough to exert enough pressure by themselves. If you are planning to store bricks on top of your miniatures, that's a different matter.
I've yet to have an ankle break during transport or storage, but I'd say the concern here is transport and not the miniature's weight.
For the record, I haven't had an ankle break on me yet, either. What I have seen, in a few different models over the years, are ankles bending over time. And that's just from sitting on a shelf, not getting jostled around during transport. "I'm going to put a large weight on the end of a metal rod and put the rod at an angle, and expect gravity to leave it there" only leads to sadness.
I've had quite a few chickenbot ankles break. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's been exactly twice as many ankles as I have chickenbots. But I'm transporting them using magnetized bases over a pothole-filled bike route to the FLGS over and over. I'd agree that the transportation is probably the issue, not the storage.
Meh, I’m not sold on the pose. Considering that Knauf got a normal release after the book exclusive one, I’ll wait and see if Ko Dali gets it as well, if not I will keep using my Fraacta Droop Troop with Combi.
Sure, and it's ugly AF and looks super dated to me, but sure what I meant was a generic release of the NEW Ko Dali. :)
@Koni How about some bits of news? Just something for us to discuss and make it easyier to wait for 10th. Please:-D
