Wait, isn't "White" Banner specifically Svalarheima? Then we have different colored banners for other regions? Yellow Banner for Earth, Orange Banner for Shentang, etc? From Banner to Banner there'll be a lot of similarity in the Order of Battle, but there would also probably be specialist detachments based on the theatre. Like, the Paradiso army probably deploys units that specialize in Jungle warfare (and probably also various units that are effectively egregious war crimes since the CA aren't covered by the Concilium Convention).
wc doesn't have units of its own, it's a mix of other factions, this precludes it from a big box release imo, I see an o12 as most likely based on numerous hints from bostria and from warsenal hinting at tie in terrain releases for the release. I just don't see how they can do tie in terrain for a mix and match merc faction, meanwhile they have haqq themed terrain and yu jing, so a set of official looking concilium prima buildings would make most sense imo. white company will just be part of n4 book release

I like the name, and it's likely very fitting. Just wasnt what i was expecting. I do kind of expect practically all of O-12's dedicated military assets to be a branch of the navy. Suppose to only be intervening in other conflicts between major powers, and not get stuck in prolonged conflicts. Looks like they possibly have two units that use aerial deployment. 3 possibly heavy infantry. Epsilons are diplomats off the battlefield. So far no light units save for maaaybe the lynx. Curious if they will use kappa's or have their own line trooper. They seem like they will be built around a core of heavy hitters, and MI I think most of O-12's ground assets focused more on policing.
don't worry, it will not be this year... and I doubt for it to be next (I mean the 3-grenzer box, because there will not be a 4-grenzer box)
Starmada is easily the worst sectorial name in infinity. why not call it Space Army? It’s so generic it made me cringe ... That being said I don’t really care but there are comments above praising it and I was taken aback. Starmada is fine . But it ain’t good! Shit. Now I want to play starmada . Aka space army.
Because Gamesworkshop took it first with Astra Militarum this is more like knock off Star Fleet XD Cause that's what first came to mind when I read it.

I think the name is a perfect balance of so bad it's good :) and it has the "buzzword/propaganda" quality that an aleph adjacent agency should have imo Infinity's take on a United nations navy? maybe gearing up to take on the large influx of combined army forces? we know from the last ITS season fluff that o12 are prepping for escalation against the EI i will be excited to see what the box has to offer, I feel we have prayed for varangians for so long at this point...
I'm feeling that it's mid to low odds varangians will be in starmada. But either way i do not see them being in the box, and i hope they arent either. I'd way rather they git their own box or blister. Let the main army box have new units.
