So what the frigg is happening with N4? Is there any kind of release date estimate? Did they scrap it and put out CodeOne instead? Is there a FAQ somewhere? Why the hell doesn't any of this info come up in a search on these forums? Wouldn't it be nice to have a nice, big, pinned topic to keep your customers informed on what the flip is going on with the game?
The studio update they put out on YouTube and linked in all their social media channels last week has a date of the 10th August for the N4 week of videos, which traditionally coincides with the Preorder. Code One is an introductory/lite version of N4, so was released first partly to work as an introduction to some of the concepts (new shotgun, crit, and dodge rules, among others) just like they did with Icestorm and N3.
Thanks for the info. I don't do the social media thing, when I want info on games I usually check official forums. I'm old and set in my ways and don't bother with Facey-space-tube. Official forums have always worked, until now.....
Koni linked the video in the August speculation thread as well. CB like to do a lot of announcements from their studio (totally not also the kitchen) so subscribing to their YouTube channel usually gets you the news quickest.

Nah, better via third party places with poor external search and whose purpose is not what appears at first glance. It's 2020, baby!!! (And that was sarcasm) Company's blog would also do.
You can usually count on someone crossposting anything important here. And we do get our feedbackposts form Hellois, Koni etc for anything major.
just don't worry, even official info can be changed without any notice, is CB style (since past few years, but latelly they have fewer "mistakes" or "inacuracies")
Isn't there an epidemic going on that has been throwing all kind of releases out of whack? I'm sure I heard something like that.

Stockholm. The entire city is built around the assumption that you won't spend much time in your "DZ". The tiny inner-city apartments or 70's million project areas are where you sleep after a long day of work and afterwork. While suburbia has this curious tendency to funnel people towards bathing spots and both private and communal grills. And while on the topic of "wrong on so many levels", an apartment in the area where I live had their party crashed by three robbers wielding knives resulting in two people having to be rushed to the hospital. I felt a bit guilty when my first thought was "wtf is wrong with people having parties during a pandemic?"
Do you call two people a party, in Sweden? We still have schools, theaters and cinema closed here, but the not-closed dance floors are allowed to open...
That's the number of people with severe injuries enough to be air-evaced, not the number of attendants.
