Can we please either get rid of the light flamer and take a points cut, or find something better for Yu Jing TAG pilots? They aren't exactly costed for trades!

It's still nice for when you can get behind something, or if the enemy wants to lose their unit less than they want to kill your Pilot (such as an objective holder on turn 3). I'd like to see where N4/C1 goes with Pilots before wishlisting changes, but I can agree the Guijia pilot's underwhelming right now.

If ninjas existed should they not have smoke? I mean, its literally one of the main tropes of a ninja...

Who needs smoke when you're invisible?

They dont use them to sneak silly, they throw them on the ground at their feet once they are spotted and then become invisible again.

See, everyone knows that ninjas carry smoke bombs, so they stopped carrying them and nobody recognises them as ninjas any more. The perfect disguise!

A long time Warcor (who did Warcor stuff before that was even a thing) who posted as Claudius Sol, not sure if he's still active on the forums but he still runs events and is active in his community.

I don't want to use his real name, but he is of Thai descent.

Is there any chance we will see more generic Specialist Operative loadouts? The BSG Guilang in Kaldström looks a bit pale in comparison to his FO Combi rifle colleague, so giving him SO could be a nice way to alleviate that.

The "more generic Specialist Operative" loadouts you're talking about seems to be Forward Observers, because Forward Observer isn't a thing in C1. I wouldn't mind the BSG profile getting Forward Observer in N4, certainly is a great complement for a Shotgun.

BSG Guilang is murder, with the new dtw mode even more so. Giving him FO for longer range aro and specialist status would be sooooo gooood :)

Shotguns all have two modes, including Light Shotguns.
Hit mode: Burst 2 with +6 range band 0-8" (normal ammo for Light Shotguns, AP for Boarding and Heavy Shotguns)
Blast mode: Burst 2 small DTW, Normal damage of the same value as Hit mode.

Impact template mode is gone. I think Koni has hinted that this is one of the changes that will be unaltered going to N4 as well.

All shotguns can be twin chain colts now, most with better damage. I wonder if vulkan shotgun will be back, and will it have DTW mode :0

Honestly, yeah, I think we've been getting a lot of nice things since N4. It sounds like ISS could use some work, but WB seems fine, IA got tons of love in N4, and I feel like we've re-established a faction identity of command and control/jack of all trades (on top of being the HI faction).

Oh and they gave the Guijia cool things. I dunno, things seem pretty good factionwise?
