I'm looking to get back into the game with N4 releasing soon along with the action pack for O12. What would be a good collection of models to purchase and have on hand to build lists with for ITS and normal games?
O-12 hasn't had a lot of releases yet, but there are many on the horizon with Code One, including the Zeta, a Support box, remotes, a hero, some 3 model booster packs, and a Dire Foes. We've seen a render for another Delta too. For N4 rather than Code One, the Siruis is an excellent buy, as is the Dakini box (which includes a Spitfire Deva), the Alpha is pretty useful but not an always thing, and most people will advise something to proxy as Varangian Guard (Galwegians 45th Highlanders are a popular option to match the fluff)
Also I'll ad that defiance Outcast is definetly a must-have on the O-12 list, hitting in november is schedule is still as announced (with the mandatory Cho, Lynxs and a probably new good lt Saladin)
Do you know if there has been any word yet if those boxes will be models for existing profiles or is O12 getting new stuff with those releases also?
Is the November release of Outcast for the Kickstarter pledges, or general release? I wasn't able to join the Kickstarter and they aren't taking late orders anymore.
They've said that all units that are coming in the Defiance kickstarter will get general release sculpts as well. We don't know when, but there will at some point be a way to get Cho (and whatever else) as regular blister packs.
O-12 actually got a bunch of new stuff just last week, including the Psi-COps, Crushers, and Casanova. There's no current plan to offer Defiance and Outcast as a retail item, but we should be getting alternative sculpts for Lynxs, and probably Cho, in time. Quite possibly in a booster.
Little of column a and a little of coloumn b. a lot is going to be existing profiles, however with the addition of crushers, Psi-Cops and Casanova to C1 I'd expect to see thm in some of those boxes.
