Beastly sculpt, relly like the Yu Jing stuff from Beyond Kaldström. Looking forward to seeing how they changed his profile.
I like the new design very much and now I have to look forward to paint another 5 Yu Jing HIs ;-) But why the hacker? Combi/LFT for the haris/TA profile ... but this will do as a proxy ... ah and yes it looks like the hacker gets a new weapon. I am eager to know how they rework the Shang Ji in N4.
Remember hacking devices are getting compressed and will likely be differentiated by program upgrades rather than type, they'll likely be less expensive overall.
@Bostria, if this is a mistake maybe you guys can catch it before production. Also what a beautiful and cool design!
In the Adepticon video Bostria said Multi Rifle so definetly a profile change in N4 (also the artwork dossier showed the spitfire, but perhaps that was simply the old dossier)
Is this new logo on sectorial chart an indication of shang ji rework? Giving them a specialist role and making core of Jujaks possible would solve many WBA problems.
There's got to be some change. The image of the AHD shows a multi-rifle. So there's a least a minimal change.
The question is whether the change would look like this ahd multi rifle fix or a total overhul a Shang ji.
Maybe should not post it here, but as it is Shang Ji related I will drop it... we can agree that we all love Shang Ji in every shape and form, just not his N3 stats Kickstarted for 1/7 statues with LED eyes and possibly swappable weapons and hacker visor? http://kck.st/3cjELms
If it's one thing I think most agree on is that the old figure was one of the coolest and it was a shame they never came out with more than one.
Well there may be some hope for the Shang Ji, it seems like there is potentially a points cut coming for them The current Multirifle profile is 40pts and that's all it has, this appears to cost the same but has extra stats and gear tacked on so hopefully they're becoming a bit cheaper overall. Also the 6-2 movement confirmed, and +1 CC not that anyone gives a shit about that.
Probably for the SWC profiles, who benefit from the rangebands. It's easier to just put the free Pistols on every profile rather than assign them just to where they're needed, probably saves a profile check every now and then. Also lets you feel cool by standing behind helpless enemies and executing them with the sidearm. Edit; Figured I'd also add that judging by previous Code One Army pictures Hacking Devices come in at 0.5 Code One points, so a MULTI-Colt Shanger would be 3.5 and a Combi-Flamer or Shotty profile may even hit 3. Edit 2; nevermind about the cost reduction, double-checked a Fusilier list and it seems Hackers only cost SWC in Code One.
https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/is-is-that-an-ap-mmr-aquila-guard.36963/ First page of this thread has a bunch of screenshots from a placeholder C1 Army app that seems to support the presence of half-points, though admittedly it could have changed.
Interesting, though those lists causes more questions than they answer. Where's camouflage on Crocman? What about MSV on Aquila?
I think we'll be seeing a widespread shakeup on existing TO units given that the change to allow granulation/more uniqueness in profiles by un-nesting rules it would make more sense if they shake all these units up rather than just leaving them as is.
Has Fire ammo been seen? I'm wondering if they are not using different ammo types to keep it simple. But then, what does the Multi-Rifle have?
