    Thank you Maksimas!

I was thinking about the following list*. I know I know "build list according to the mission" but I have limited models right now (returning from a 3 year hiatus, while I sold my Infinity collection except a panO starter). So the main plan was to have the Kamau sniper as an ARO piece and move the HMG with the Fusi alongside the ORC haris. Now thinking it through more.. logically the big scary ARO link makes more sense. Now what to do with the HMG Kamau (or with its cost spent on something other)...

The kamau is also shock immune. So alot of times you can doctor him back up for a second turn of ARO.

If you got Helots to spare... a camo marker at the snipers flank also makes it impossible to pie-slice-shoot your sniper without discovering the marker first. Costs the enemy 2 orders if the rolls work for your enemy to even start killing the Kamau. And if he fails the discover roll... I had games with my opponent losing 5 orders just to start shooting at the Kamau.

I don't have Helots (yet) but that is a nice idea, thanks.

I tried this list in a practice game on TTS yesterday - messed up the fireteam distribution(I've only got about half a year of playing experience behind my back) but my first casualty appeared very late compared to what my opponent expected. ARM4/BTS3 is absolutely great!

Yeeeessss. Join the dark side of the Heavy Infantry. We get good ARM and usually two wounds.

Okay, in all seriousness, 2W 4ARM in a link is a tough nut to crack. T:

Jokes aside, I had a BSG-Patsy-Hacker ORC Haris take Dart out in the first turn once, then proceed to 'deny' a sniper their tower by literally just standing there, AROing and succeeding their saves from a MULTI sniper. I get that veteran players probably don't appreciate moments like this anymore, but I was incredibly happy with my HI then.

Hey, with the weirdness that was my local meta ( Not too sure how it is nowadays, local city half of it died down around the newest 40k release cycle and the quarantine doesn't help. ), I get to experience a fancy moment with HI every other match.

Man I can still remember that one Ariadna player being surprised that 10 Order Group lists couldn't have their orders taken away and how annoyingly durable non-Ariadna-HI are.

    Hum.
You are making it quite tough choise between PanO’s Varuna and Yu Ying as my second army to have.
Second interesting PanO sectorial was NTC, but that sectorial seems to have lost most of its kits in the shop.
Third interesting PanO sectorial is the Winter forces and their fancy Winter coats.

But, with what kits are available; Varuna seems to be on the cost efficient (for wallet). Varuna starter is said to have quite good set for those starting (I have heard).

(In case somebody asks ”what was the army I started from”; it was the JSA, and having a second army would help with introducing the game for potential new players)

    @Demotron
Varuna is easy to collect right now because its miniature collection is about as close to complete as a Sectorial really gets. Virtually no proxying necessary, and there are even a ton of solo blisters that give you a lot of budget control over what you purchase. The only conceivable stress point is getting multiple rifle fusiliers, but that's not too bad.

Disposable jammers? We will see how many charges/loads (1-3), but it's a shame for the Zulu Cobra, it was the basis of VIRD's defensive strategy and part of the new toys of PanO. Let's see how the profiles of the ZC in N4 will be, hopefully they receive something additional...

Personally, I thought that the jammers would allow a "reset" or something to cancel the state, but not that they were disposable.

Even if it's only 2 uses, that's still a massive roadblock if the effect stays the same. I would't worry too much about Zulu Cobra Jammer LT becoming obsolete.

Well now you can do a Croc-Man "HD into SF on enemy 1st turn" suprise.

It might turn out to have quite a potential. If you managed to ensure the firelane is not longer than 24" your enemy might get some nasty surprise ahead of him (especially if you manage to put a mine to protect CrocMan from camo tokens).

I'll need to see that one in person. I really like the angle on the left, but the center image makes it look decidedly chonky and beefy for a TAG that's supposed to be hydrodynamic. Overall though, I love that the Cutter has received attention.

    A fresh HMG design too.

For me it does too much resemble Avatar, both from a pose and main superstructure. It's not bad, just a bit repetetive for a TAG which should have a bit more "special" aesthetics.

(also: still miles ahead of poor Zeta design ;P )

Notice the ankle-fins are still a feature too.

I see the "chunky" criticism, but I'm hoping it's like a lot of the renders, an artefact that disappears in the model itself (the Magister Knight helmets were oversized in render format but much better scaled on the model), but even so, I love it.
