In the Spanish version of Infinity Army it reads : “this troop can be part of any fireteam of Shang Ji” while in the English version it reads: “this troop can be part of any fireteam in this sectorial army” which is the correct one?
This is potentially a good thing though. He actually gets buffed if it gets worded to "Counts as Shang Ji", as Shang Ji are native wildcards. This means you can build the Jujak link around him, rather than the Shang Ji being a useless burden on the Jujak core. Just saying.
I ran it through a translator, says may join fireteams of Shang Ji not "counts as a Shang Ji" unfortunately so my hopes aren't high.
Do you have to bring shang ji into shang ji core or can you do 1 wildcard+4 jujaks and call it shang ji core? I don't remember the verdict about dahshat's 4 bounty hunter + rui shi zuyong core.
a shang ji core (pure core) needs at least 1 shang ji or 1 count-as-shangji in it. That is the rule for identifying cores*. a special fireteam core needs at least 1 of the specifically listed models of that special fireteam (or a count-as).** *rule text as written : When creating a Fireteam: Core that includes Wildcard troopers, you must include at least one trooper from one of the units listed for that Fireteam in the Sectorial chart, or a trooper who counts as one of those units. **example from Ikari : "Special Fireteam: Core. 4 Druze + 1 Tankō." needs at least 1 druze, 1 tanko, or 1 count-as one of those.
The correct version is: “this troop can be part of any fireteam in this sectorial army” Updated on the Army ;)
Thanks for clarification 8) When can we expect an update of the fireteam lists in wiki? Will there be some kind of addition for the ISS with Adil (maybe he wildcard or count as someone)?
Thanks for the update HellLois. Hope you and your loved one stay safe out there. But back to infinity. RIP Shang Ji HMG. That extra CC and 2 PH is not going to offset 1 point and 0.5 SWC compared to the Captain :(
