Let's be honest, this was also too much to hope for. I mean they would be even more insane Kuang Shi's with Smoke and CC capabilities. I heard rumours about CB testing Murloc links and immediately came to the conclussion that it was insane. To be honest, linkable Kuang Shi's and Volunteers are already pushing it a bit much and thankfully very restricted. Yes this is a natural law at this point, lmao. I think these are legit insane and with Vanilla, only Ariadna seem to easily match YJ's Minelayer capabilities, with Daoying, Guilang, Libertos AND Yaofang.
Let me rub some additional salt into that wound: Remember the Shang Ji Spitfire? Didn't it have Tactical Awareness? Now, look at the Shang Ji HMGs that replaced it.
Actually... yeah, I don't recall the HRL having it before. Huh. Actually, that now makes it really interesting for wildcarding the Shang Ji into backfield links that aren't expected to move much... a pretty defensive weapon setup that can also give you an order a turn to shift around the link can be neato.
Also, another oddity I seem to have noticed with WBA: We have a Wildcard Lieutenant L2, but not a single NCO option. I mean, this is surely intended and I'm fine with it, makes IA and WBA even more distinct from each other.
I'd rather have TaWare on the HRL profile than the Spitfire profile if I got to choose. The HMG profile is basically completely redundant IMO, much like most Shang-Ji and Zuyong profiles.

First thing that strikes out at me is the Blue Wolf cost. At 89 pts this S5 TAG is more expensive than the Guijia, anyone else having trouble adding this one up?
Seems like even with the discount on the PH and ARM, the extra CC, Akryllat, Multiterrain, Hyperdynamics, Kinematika, Full Auto and courage add up in price fast
Should have a gun discount too, AP Spitfire is cheaper than Multi HMGs. O-Yoroi was cheaper than the Guijia and it had CC stats and Madtraps and only 1 less armour. Struggling to figure this one out.
True, but probably too low of a discount. Wait... ACTUALLY how much influence on a TAGs cost does their Pilot have? The Wolf pilot has extra CC and PH, as well as Courage over the Guijias.
I agree! Though I like ISS it is really starting to show it's age with these 2 new sectorials. I hope it gets some much deserved love in N4.
O-Yoroi also had the gun discount- AP HMG instead of MULTI. FA1 is a pricey skill; most of the extra cost probably goes to that.
I'm struggling to get the prices to match when cross-comparing to the Yan Huo whose price can only be explained by "MHMG is stupidly overpriced AF", but on the whole it's so weird that stats can't really allow me to pass judgement on it other than it is closest in kind to an O-12 Omega. I'm kind of missing Mimetism on it for a range of reasons, not least being thematic reasons.
So what’s everyone thinking for the beyond box? Options as I see them are: Tian Guo* Jing Qo* Lei Gong Ye Mao Blue wolf* Yaofang My guess is the * ones. Blue wolf is an option is it’s actually S5.
