It was mentioned on the Infinity blog, but in case you haven’t seen it: a company is having a KS for some nice printed bases, and there will be Infinity-specific designs. You can check it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/secretweapon/hd-bases-by-secret-weapon-miniatures-0/description For now, only 4 designs are specific to Infinity, although some others definitely fit as well (the desert theme is obviously very good for Haqqislam). From the comments, it seems the designers will talk with CB to try to have a Kaldstrøm theme added as well, which would be great for any beginner picking up C1. It’s not for everyone, some might prefer home-made bases, and they might clash with the stuff you already based. Personally, I’m still pumped for it, as I have found it difficult to make decent “high-tech” bases, and the designs do look good.
Oooh, I did not think of Defiance! I see the issue, but yeah, this type of bases would be great for the boardgame.
I hope they add Kaldstrøm theme for my White Banner snow force. Although, Op Icestorm was also happening in Sval, so it thematically works even if it is not snowy at all. Also, Icestorm has a mat, and there is no mat for Op Kaldstrøm (and none for Op Red Veil, we can say new 4x4 mat are not coming out as fast as new Op boxes).
well it might not be 6 month anymore. from adepticon seminar, core defiance will be released as expected but the rest could be delayed to december which is just a month before they make the bases.
Put in a dollar to get access to the pledge manager, it's supposed to be open until December so there will be plenty of time to decide what if any I want.
