Adil seems more like a Pheasant than a Zhanying to me. Either way he's pretty cool. :)

 

For a cost of 2? yeah, It can actually take some place inside games. It's like a pheasant with extras but 10 points cheaper
Especially considering the size of smaller C1 tables. the less orders it needs to get to the enemy, the better

I don't know if a HFT HI can be called "bland" as there is not that much of this kind of weapon in Yu Jing (one on a TAG, one on a REM).
From what we know yet, the Jujak has the advantage to be more resilient than a Lu Duan and less costy than a Guijia even if it is slightly slower on a Move+Move. There is also a possibility (we will see that today I think) to have it in a Fireteam when played in sectorial.

 

IDK about you guys, but I'm just glad to see 6-2 Heavy Infantry.

...also, if those are the points costs we'll see in N4, that's great, since it's a discount for Zhanshis at last!

 

True 2W, most likely linkable, HI with a big flamer is pretty unique.
Suryats, Shang Ji and Mobile brigadas pay out of the ass for just light flamethrowers and basic Jujak seems to cost in the range of a basic Zuyong

Jujak's weapons don't indicate his role as core line infantry. Maybe a wildcard or special haris.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they are a ''counts as Zuyong'' for Fireteams.

Mobile Brigadas and Suryats are rather bog-standard HI with Flamers, ours just gets a bigger flamer. T:

 

On the part about long-range options:
We've only seen what we can assume to be the ''basic'' loadout these guys will have. Meaning it's still perfectly possible to find ourselves with an alternate profile toting around anything from a Marksman or Spitifire to an HMG or HRL. So, at least for now, including my actually obsessive at this point bias towards HI... I like this boi.

 

Jujak has a Spitfire on his dossier, I guess it will be a high burst SWC option for them.

 

Ye Mao is funny. It's going to be yet another unit for Yu Jing that technically has the same name as another unit in another faction, but in Chinese. Considering how different Bandits and Daofei are, though, I doubt we can read much into the Ya Mao's name even if both Bandit and Daofei are infiltrators with camo and even if both Wildcats seem to be MI and even if it would make sense for White Banner to get a linkable Medium Infantry...

I would be very surprised as I highly doubt that Zuyong will be in White Banner or that Jujak would be introduced to IA. Jujak is most likely the only linkable heavy in White Banner. I would expect they are linkable in some way with Zhanshi and/or Ye Mao, either specifically (up to 1 or 2) or as Wildcard.

 

Only hospitallers don't have dedicated ARO weapon but they have HMG with longer range than spitfire. I really hope that Jujak will get more weapons in N3/N4. I won't bet on that though. His HFT already makes him quite unique. Not daofei level of unique but still
