Well it is "ambush" not "stealth assassin". Surprise and shock your opponent to quickly mop them up afterwards, not take them down unnoticed :) .
And I actually preffer ir that way. I mean, don't get me wrong, HD templates are amazing... If you're the one deploying them. I think it takes out some of the fun in the game when one bad move with a link team can leave you KO for the rest of the match. I know, I know, we haven't even seen the profiles yet, but I'm kinda hyped about the sectorial so I can't help talking about this guys. All my Yu Jing models have a snowy theme :)
The reason for 20 order tokens might be because they're future-proofing for the Beyond Box + other Code One packs. Since C1 will only be single combat groups it makes sense to give players 10 order tokens each in what is essentially the "Core Box".
Actually, if my memory is correct, Red Veil had a Yuan Yuan marker because you need it for one of the missions. If you got the pre-order mini you'd use that one instead. I suppose this is the same situation.
The Yuan Yuan was included in the box, Liang Kai isn't. The Kunai Solutions Ninja is the preorder bonus figure here.
He is a part of Mission 5 of Code One if i remember Bostria correctly and not everyone will get the bundle now
Much like Icestorm had the CSU token, Red Veil had the Yuan Yuan token, Coldfront had the Wardriver token, and Wildfire had the Hippo token, they've just used the other Preorder exclusive miniature this time (I assume because they didn't want a sniper as the central hostile neutral figure).
That's one of the main things I don't get. Each Operation had a token for the bonus figure because they were part of the final mission as a "shoot anyone" thing. For some reason in this Op, the Monk is the token, but the Ninja is included? So I suppose the ninja is not part of the missions at all? Seems a little goofy, especially since they're making the monk so expensive to get.
Just a guess: The player who doesn't get the Ninja (which'll be in all 2-player packs) gets the Monk, or in case of those who don't pre-order gets the Monk Marker.
I didn't see a Ninja marker in the photo, just the Monk. So if you don't get the preorder you won't get monk or ninja, but will get the monk token. And Hippolyta/ YuanYuan/ Wardriver/ CSU were just a token/ preorder mini that shot at both sides, not Hippolyta for one side and Valkyrie for the other. So it's odd.
Presumably the the monk worked better for the scenario than a sniper, all the previous mission 5 NPCs had combis or shotguns.
Right, doesn't bother me that the Monk is there rather than the Ninja, bothers me that if the Monk is the neutral, it should be the box-preorder with the Ninja the bundle preorder, if that makes sense. I actually prefer the Ninja figure as a figure, but I've been collecting Infinity for like 5 months and have plenty of snipers...
The monk will show up in a blister soon enough. ----------------- What's this jabber about S5 heavy infantry? Sigh. We are talking about S5 TAGs, like the Su Jian. Yu Jing most certainly stole the technology for that from Pan-O. I would expect Pan-O to field a better version of it at some point. Yes I know the SU Jian is not labelled a TAG, but it is. Y vosotros tambien.
Yes, but on the other side of those it says -3. So Guilang, Daofei, Hundun, and Guilang's 3 mines. Either the markers are understocked or there's no Marker states on the Pan-O side.
I see it now. One side is camo -3, the other side camo -6. He said the Nokken is a infiltrator but said nothing about a camo state, so maybe? I think the Hundun is going to be a HI. Probably a 1.5 wound type. That back pack is on heavies like the Haidao. The legs however are not very armored. So It's really hard to say. But that back I've only seen on heavies. Haidao, Hac Tao
