Call me when it happens, so far I put it among "nice things" and "Spirit of the Council". Well in history CC used to be quite independent and "global" power, which did not exactly hold to a single nation. "catholic" means no less than a "common" or "for all" so if suddenly Yu-Jing converted "en masse" MO could theoreticly land in Empire xD (they would probably switch armors, but it's a minor thing)
Agreed. Besides, this web page is free. Not sure what that bit about "[invalidating] a weeks worth of high quality paid content is about". Shit's out there, so be it.
Easy, Deep Green X is Kilian from Beasts of War. They are going to lose big on the Youtube Dollars or whatever now that the big thing reveal is not a thing anymore. Or something along those lines, I'm not sure what Beasts of War's business model is, but I doubt losing what probably was the main piece reveal of their Infinity week is a good thing for them. Then again, I could be veeeeery wrong
Why cancel rest because Tunguska/Black Hand will get nicest toys due to "black labs", "templar artifacts" etc. ?;P
The Warcors have early access to this kind of products (Icestorm, Red Veil, etc...) for several reasons, at the tail of those is "privilege", because the list starts with "so you will have the models ready to be shown and make demos when we release the product". You can expect several stores to get those boxes aswell, but mainly to exhibit the painted miniatures when the product gets launched (and that is if they are not exhibiting the Warcor's miniatures, which he will be picking for the demos in the store, for example). If I can make a final assumption, for what I saw around the filtration was either planned by CB, or by accident, with no ill will involved.
My guess is he's referring to BOW content. And in that event, it's hardly "invalidated" since they reach a broader, and different, audience there than just us weirdos over here in the forum and the hardcore Facebookers. I thought MO was down with the Spirit of the Council from past discussions on the forums. These days they sound more like the Jesuits over at Commonweal than crusading monastic orders to me.
Don't know if you meant to direct that at me or not, but I never meant to suggest that Warcors get early access as a special privilege. I think most of us are aware that they get said access to promote new products.
I don't believe they'll loose anything. The leaked info would be all over the place on the bow release day. And everybody would watch the videos asap to get some glimpses on new Minis (which we didn't get) and catch some info snippets of Carlos. For my part I don't like the videos as they take forever and have little content, but I'll watch them anyways asap so not to have to wait for the better comprehended News which will be all over the place a day after. And nobody from CB removed the leak from here. So I don't understand why the fuss on facebook, and calling people names, just cause some WarCor made a mistake and some other warcors fear for their 'privilege'... Why bother with information on facebook, when its on the official forum. The only thing that can damadge infinity or cb now is the negativity and whining of some zealots. 'This is why we can't have nice things' lol, we can and we get them 2018 will be rad for infinity and the viral marketing works!
Assumptions about the BoW reveal or the wild (and slightly daft) speculation regarding cutting down unit access for factions? The latter being par for course for the release speculation threads, of course.
This all depands on the weapon which can ruin the whole thing. I fear a sheskin like halbeard And btw speculations help hype help sales.....
I'm totally gonna recast those helmet cat ears and put a pair on every Hellcat, Tomcat and Wildcat I own.
As one of the resident "complainers about reference models" I dont min the JSA ones, unlike suicide squad and guardians of the galaxy I dont think they detract from the idea of the mini, I can look at them and see them fitting in infinity. Joker and Harley quinn I cant look at their models and not just see them. Its a fine line, and somewhat more about % of the unit that is a reference, 1-2 morlocks out of 5 being references would be fine but blocks of references make it harder for them to mesh with the settings aesthetic.
As I've said elsewhere about this. Don't trust information with volunteers that have no loyalty to your company with information you don't want in the general public. Not sure why CB though that no one out of how many warcors wouldn't leak things especially with so many that are "registered" as a warcor but don't actually do anything. I'm assuming the paid content is CB pays BoW for making the marketing videos as there's no way they make money from youtube ads, especially now after all the changes. Still, as others have said, I don't think it's going to hurt the views too much as people who were going to watch still will as all that info is screen caped and posted everywhere in like 3 min.
In fact, the recent sniper shot most likely belongs to that troop and the sniper clearly has Su Jian legs it should be a S5 HI which will need some very strong profile to be playable as the CC specialist it seems to be
That's interesting. I didn't even think of the sniper shot, but that does make a certain amount of sense. Especially if this new sectorial has "liberated" the technology to make it.
